Kapitel 66: “Moving”

Before starting to build the houses for Lego, Ralph and the other ex-Marines and their families, Yamamoto told Clover, Dragon, and the other founding members of the Soul Society about it.

Although it was just to build some houses he could not make the decision alone, as they had said it would be a democratic one. So they decided to meet that very day, to discuss the issue and their next moves as a nation.

The meeting was held at Clover's house, Ivankov and Kuma were absent however they were more interested in the Revolutionary Army than the politics of a nation.

Those who were interested in this were two people, Olvia and Hocha. Both had great intelligence and had read many books, not only had they studied archaeological subjects.

Tesoro was now more interested in increasing his strength, so he was also absent from training. So the first board of the Soul Society consisted of: Yamamoto, Dragon, Clover, Olvia, and Hocha.

"We are here to discuss the construction of several houses for Lego and the others, I was also told to bring your families to live here" said Yamamoto while drinking tea.

"I think it's good to build houses for them, it's about time. Besides, we should build more, a nation needs people and before we get people, we should already have houses ready" said Clover. The others agreed to build houses, they couldn't bring people and have them have to sleep on the ships or outdoors.

"As for the Lego families and the others, we should send them a message or something, we need to make sure they agree before we go looking for them" Clover commented.

"I can tell Ivankov to go with Lego and Ralph to the 80th division and already inform each family member, after they give the okay, Yamamoto will go with the ship to transport them all" said Dragon.

"That would be good, I leave it in your hands" said Yamamoto glad that he didn't have to do much.

Ivankov owned a much smaller ship and had a lot of experience moving incognito so he was the best for this task, he would only have to take Lego and Ralph.

"How many houses will be built?" asked Olvia.

"Mm, Lego and the others are 7, minimally that would be the number" replied Hocha.

"Since we are going to build, we could build more so in the future we won't have to" added Hocha.

"Yes, about 15 houses would be fine" said Yamamoto, although it was a large number of houses, he didn't think this task would be that difficult to complete, since they had many strong guys so fatigue is not a problem.

Warship Island is full of trees, the only thing they may come to need are materials that can be obtained from the island itself. As for the house plan, they already had a carpenter.

They would be simple houses, but useful.

"And where will we get more people from? It will be hard for normal people to decide to follow us, as they will turn against the World Government" asked Hocha.

"There are many people who were abandoned by the World Government and they would be happy to get a home where they can live in peace, we just need to find them and give them a hand" replied Yamamoto.

"I have something else I want to discuss" said Dragon.

"Oh, what is it?" asked Yamamoto curiously.

"Warship Island is not the best choice to form our nation and be the main base for the Revolutionary Army" replied Dragon.

"Why isn't it a good option? The fog creates a natural barrier and also being close to the Calm Belt makes it much more difficult for someone to navigate here" Yamamoto said.

"That's true, but it's still in the West Blue. The Marine has more control over the 4 Blues than compared to the Grand Line. From what I was told Marine Nelson somehow managed to get through the fog" Dragon replied in a serious tone.

"Mm... that's true, with so many marines looking for him it's only a matter of time before some ship runs into the fog. Even Olvia on her journey managed to get here by sheer luck" said Clover worried.

*Shit... they're right, although the fog helps it's not impenetrable* thought Yamamoto with a serious expression, he had neglected this issue since they never found them so far.

Besides, being in the West Blue the Marine could send fleets more easily from the HQ, on the other hand if they are in Grand Line with so many pirates on the loose they can't send as many fleets, as they are currently doing it.

"The danger is imminent, I relied too much on the fog..." said Yamamoto recognizing his mistake.

"I propose to make a move as soon as possible, we must know the decision of the Lego families and the others, then we will leave for the Grand Line" proposed Dragon, his goal was always this.

"What about the houses?" asked Hocha, they had agreed on something, but now it had gone down the drain.

"They won't be done, it would be best to plan the move, and inform everyone" said Yamamoto.

With what Dragon said he felt a greater sense of urgency. After the month spent training, they didn't find them thanks to the marines mostly setting sentry ships, however, now it was different, the marine ships were sailing all over the West Blue looking for them.

Even in a matter of days they might find them, so the best thing to do was to get the hell out, luckily they had Dragon who warned them.

"Do you have any islands in mind?" asked Yamamoto to Dragon.

"Yes, in these past few days, I was looking for an island that meets the characteristics of a nation. I found two islands. White Earth Island or Aurora Island" replied Dragon.

"I think Aurora Island is a better choice because White Earth Island also called Baltigo is a desert and rocky land, although its location is good, it is not suitable to create a nation" added Dragon.

"Well, it is decided we will use the navy ship as the main ship" said Yamamoto ending the meeting. Now they had to let everyone know about this unexpected decision and start the move.

The meeting ended unexpectedly for Yamamoto. He had planned to build homes for the ex-Marines and their families and they ended up deciding to leave the island as it was too dangerous to stay here. Everyone understood this, so there was no one against it.

Yamamoto understood why the original Revolutionary Army was never based on any of the 4 Blues. The Marine's control over these oceans is far superior to what they have in Grand Line which, although there are pirates they will not pay as much attention to them as the Marine or the World Government.

On the other hand, being on the Grand Line puts Yamamoto in a better location to interfere with the events he thought earlier. Since they happen here and not in the 4 Blues.

Clover, Hocha, and Olvia made sure everyone immediately knew the decision to leave the island and the reasons why. Everyone was very surprised, even some were sad like Ramses and the other 4 ex-slaves, but they accepted since they decided to follow Yamamoto.

The archaeologists were a bit sad to have to leave the library, but they started to move all the books back to the navy ship, Tesoro and the others also helped.

*I wonder if the system will do anything since I'm changing bases* thought Yamamoto, but he didn't notice any new notifications.

The next day Ivankov arrived on the island and was advised of the decision to leave the island and the new mission he had. Together with Lego and Ralph, they left the island in the direction of the 80th Division.

Before leaving he told Yamamoto the information he found out about Fisher Tiger and Tom.

As for Tom, he told him similar to what he already knew with some details.

Two years ago Tom started building the sea train. He also told him that Tom had a company called Tom's Workers a shipping company that works on the Water 7 and they are the ones helping him to create the marine train. Its members besides Tom are a mermaid named Kokoro, a boy named Iceburg, another boy named Cutty Flam, and a huge frog named Yokozuna.

Yamamoto was surprised at the ability to get information. When he heard Cutty Flam's name he knew it was Franky who had not yet changed his name.

What he heard about Fisher Tiger surprised him greatly, Ivankov told him that he was also known as the adventurer, and in one of many adventures he was enslaved by a World Noble and taken to Mary Geoise as a slave.

He thought that Fisher Tiger was several years away, but if he was already a slave to Mary Geoise he could escape at any time, Yamamoto asked Ivankov to be on the lookout for any information about Mary Geoise and Fisher Tiger.

*I need to get a reliable subordinate like that* thought Yamamoto somewhat envious of Dragon, although they were now partners he didn't feel very good about asking Ivankov for so many things.

When Ivankov, Lego, and Ralph arrive at the 80th division and know the decision of each family, they will notify Yamamoto using a den den mushi, if the families agree to follow them, Yamamoto and all the others will leave immediately in the direction of the 80th division, then from there they will go directly to the Grand Line.
