"Did you hear what happened with the twins?" Mary asked Jim while enjoying herself a piece of Strawberry Cake.

Jim nodded, "It's all that everyone is talking about nowadays", he said, trying to enjoy the vanilla cake, which didn't seem to suit his taste.

The first time they came to taste a cake was when they completed their first year. It was kind of a treat for themselves, for both of them, who did good in their first year.

Normal breadcakes are cheap but any cake that comes with a word before it like strawberry, chocolate etc... would be costly. It was something only nobles and the rich could enjoy to the full.

Normally they couldn't afford such things but they found that they could buy a piece of cake if you are a student of the academy. The first time they used whatever little amount they could scrounge and bought themselves a piece each.
