Night fell once again, and the desert breeze was even colder and harsher tonight as if perceiving the fierce battles that would be happening soon inside the tall and thick walls of this closed city, which is like a heavy fortress in the middle of the sea of sand.
"Qiu Ling!" Lin Ze exclaimed when he saw the blind young man that was of Huichen. He was surprised earlier when he received a slip of paper that said for him to go to the alley that leads to an abandoned courtyard.
It was then that Lin Ze knew that Qiu Ling might be the one who sent him this message. So, he tells Bai Jing that he is going to go back to that place again where he has seen (not really) the elixir thief and will leave the outside of the inn for Bai Jing to 'take care'. Bai Jing agreed since he knows his strength well and it definitely is not enough to deal with the elixir thief. Look, even Lin Ze, who is stronger than him, has to be cautious around the elixir thief.

Qiu Ling (aka Meng Xing): missed me?
Ke Lin: I am pretty sure someone did.
Lin Ze: *blush furiously
Qiu Si: *snorts in disdain and disgust
Bai Jing: don’t state the obvious. *grins
Ke Lin: ... well, I want to say that it was actually – (me)
Huichen members: - that it was us who missed our boss! When will he come home?! QAQ
