I've read till about 40 chaps and I love it already. There is some mystery, funny, and romance elements to the story. Love that the MC is not the weak & helpless type. And the ML is just well not sure to take a pity or laugh at him. However, it is only the start of the novel, so there will be a lot of development going on. Oh, before I forget, u will definitely love all if not most of the side characters in the novel. So far, Qiu Qi is my fav. 😚😚 Definitely recommend this novel.

The book is good and funny but the translator hates English readers. World building is nice but very plane. Lin Ze is so stupid I hope he get character growth. I like the overall story as it’s light and fun to read but honestly this is pure MTL. Please work on the translation.

This novel has been a great read so far, I‘m currently on chapter 58. I came here from Wattpad 😆 The ML and MC are hilarious as is their romance (lack there of atm 😂. As the previous reviewer said this MC is not the weak and helpless type which I especially loved but he is giving our poor ML a hard time which is expected because he is constantly testing his bottom line 🤣😂 The side characters are awesome and their future pairings will be worth the wait/read. There are plenty more chapters so the character and plot development will be nicely fleshed out! Also the small theatre @ the end of each chapter will give you life 💃🏾😆And Qui Qi is the BESTEST ☺️
