I love Er Gen books, but the consistency of chapter releases leaves much to be desired. I bought a monthly subscription to read current chapters, but half the time I'll just wait for the chapter to come out, sad :(
Man just hope this never gets dropped because this is Peak. Was scared for a moment because we did not get any chapters for 1-2months.
Does anyone know anything about this pause? It's been 12 days without updating, does the author have any social network where he keeps his readers informed?
Is this novel on hiatus?, when will it continue updating chapters?, or 2 chapters per 2 weeks is going to be the next chapter schedule?
One of the best novels I read so far and I am known as an Hater by many of you. Although I see myself ass and honest Person ( expect sometimes when I go to far because if I get triggered then its the worst possible thing online and thank God I can’t hack or I would probably be in jail ages ago,Lmao)
one best novel among Er Gen's works. 3D characters, good plot, good pace, world building.
It starts off a bit slow, and usually the beginning has to hook me or I’m out but because it is Er Gen, I had to give this novel a chance. Let me tell you, I do not regret it at all! The author is on a different level, and you can tell he has continually refining his writing skills. Give this novel a try, you will be laughing, crying and most importantly, enjoying this.
Not recommend. This is well written in many ways, as one would expect from a famous novel writer. Unfortunately we are given a monotone story for the most part. There ups and downs for sure. But for the most part it is a story full of shitty people doing shitty things. All with nearly zero personalities. One guy eats a lot of fruit, that really stood out to me. That’s how bad it is. The whole story is dark and gloomy and there is zero humor. Early on we see some kind relationships, but they last for only a bit before they part.
Still one of the best book 📖 👌 🙌 . Just hope that I can read all the way just like Lord of mysteries 🙏
This is probably the best Er Gen book so far. The MC and supporting characters are well written. The translator did good job as well. There are no dollar store jokes. The comedic scenes, heartfelt scenes and emotional scenes were well written. I’ve read the authors other works and I almost dropped them at certain point if not for the lore. Author stepped out of his comfort zone for this book and suprisingly it turned out great. Kudos to translator as well for his commendable job. The only downside is update schedule. Don’t know whether it is Er Gen’s inconsistency or translator’s inconsistency, there is no fixed schedule. I hope release schedule will be fixed soon.
Really enjoyable, feels like the one piece of Er Gen novels in the sense that it has more length than his previous works.
This is the peak. It teuly is. Apart from overly describing everything and multiple times. The story is superb.
Another amazing piece of writing by er gen, the stories pace is just perfect and the world building becomes better and better as you continue to read.
the book is addictive in a good way, written well and its very funny evoking genuine laughter . reading the book is more of watching a Sci-Fi movie , it is very realistic with vivid descriptions that I am able to envision scenes in 3d.
The novel is great but man inconsistent updates really suck. If I did my job like that I'd be fired. The translation quality is also subpar, which tells a lot about the quality of the book if people still read it and rate it good. Overall pretty good but maybe it's time for a different translation team behind this.
What an amazing novel. The mc, the rest of the characters and the story are unique. It is very well written to the point that words become clear pictures in your mind. Congrats ergen

Good blood. At the same time, it was different from the past. For example, the fluctuations in the large region had never appeared before. Even though the three shrines had descended and suppressed the core of Jiuli, the fluctuations from the spider god still caused many bloodline stimulations in the ferocious beasts in the Mountains and Seas Region. The savageness of the beasts in the Mountains and Seas Region, which were already filled with ferocity, became increasingly intense. In fact, small-scale beast tides even appeared in some areas. Hence, the danger brought to the cultivators participating in this segment also soared. Almost every day, many participants died

Interesting and quite suspenseful, the story is very thick with magic, starting to leave techniques like at the beginning of the story, I think it would be more interesting if the story building of other characters in the novel was also built, not just one storyline.
at first it was good..cruel cultivation world..dark tone..with cautious decessive ruthless mc...then it went downhill when the Mr Er gen chose to turn the mc into a loyal dog for human cause..brotherhood and doing what is right..sacrifice and being in the limelight as a vertious protagonist...which never make sense in such world...I dropped this novel as such mc is not my cup of tea..

I love this novel. i'm hyped to feach the point of connection with previous Er Gen's novels
well, as a fan and pretty much hard critic, I could not help but write a short review about that novel, the write Er gen truly deserves the title of God Of cultivation story writing, now about the story... the main character have great personality progress from a cold person to killer then leader and so on and on I personally don't like the cold type mc but to watch his progress is a truly intriguing, the world building is just amazing I'm to shallow and uneducated to describe it, 10 starts from 5, about the plot >> 10 stars from 5, but most of all in my opinion Er gen enriches the cultivation genre and made it be just so much more interesting that after outside of time every other cultivation novel feels too shallow for me. in the end friends I'm highly recommended that novel in my personal opinion it deserves to be places at the same rank with lord of mysteries, revered insanity.
