Kapitel 42: A King's Work
Spending the night with Qiness Ryo avoided the Harem he had brought with him, so he wasn't reprimanded by Lita, well at least not yet!
Sitting on his throne Ryo watched as so many people entered his Throne Room, His family, his servants, and Agmond
Ryo [Ok, lots of people are here today, well I guess some Important stuff came out, let's start with you Agmond]
Agmond [It's my pleasure My King, my case today is The adventurers, They are demanding to be allowed to have their weapons on them when they go inside the city, there has been many reports in Zion of guards stealing the equipment's of the Adventurers when they leave them on the city storage]
Ryo [Adventurers this, adventurers that, Can these people not annoy the hell out of me? *Sigh* fine Allow them to wear their weapons inside the cities, However, using or even drawing their weapons inside will be punishable by a fine or jail, Also make sure that all important Areas in the city, have their surrounding not allow weapons, they can use their weapons inside the cities, but not to close to my official buildings, Now next one, come Aeron]
After bowing Agmond Rejoined the entourage of people inside the throne room, Family members and most important figures like Ryo's harem all stood on the right while, most others like Agmond, Merlin and Rama all stood to his left, this included the new Servants that Ryo brought with him , Rin and Sakura with Semiramis and medusa are all considered Important to Ryo, while Artoria and Alter stood behind his throne as if to act as his bodyguards while Illya, stood with his elder sister, some would say they are arguing who is the true eldest sister, but Ryo disagrees !
Replacing Agmond Aeron came forward to the middle as he said
Aeron [My King I ha-]
Ryo [I'm your brother, and you shall address me as such, why do you have to complicate this every time Aeron, Just speak to me casually, I understand the need for formality, but when it comes to my family you all are beyond that !]
Aeron [Sorry, brother, Well what I came here for is the permission to go ahead and take six hundred soldiers to an Expedition in the Tunlan forest, Adventures don't venture to much inside due to the fear of death, but the army doesn't fear that, and we want to start the cleaning of monsters so we can build more towns and such]
Ryo [Well *sigh* we can't simply kill all the monsters and destroy the forest, we have to be smart about it, there is something called an Ecosystem, and we cant just break that, we will build roads, but never fully erase it, Forests are important in the world , so hmm, Go ahead, but Only go to the areas Listed by Merlin, he will be the head of this operation, and you will be the leader of the army, Now then, Come forward Merlin]
Moving away Aeron was replaced by Merlin, Merlin with his casual manner bowed and said
Merlin [Well, What I ask for is, to be frank, only me and Qiness can't do everything, so we need more Ministers]
Then as if not to insult him Merlin mentally said
Merlin "Ryo please, I need a vacations, I can't do everything, It's too much work"
Ryo "Oh ? Who was in the brothels last night ? and who was sucking dream energy from the people last weak ? I should over-work you more! You damned pervert"
Merlin "I'm not a pervert, it's just my Race"
Ryo "Your half human Merlin! *sigh* well I doesn't matter I will appoint more ministers anyway"
Ryo [*sigh* Well to start with, Agmond, Congratulations, from now on you are the internal affairs minister!]
Hearing his new position Agmond had his mouth opened in shock and then bowed and said
Agmond [Thank you My King, I shall do my duty with utmost proficiency, but what about my Priest work? will I lead this country's religion Side as well]
Ryo [that will be unnecessary, from now on the Kingdom is free of religion, we accept anyone, whatever you worship is allowed, of course if it doesn't contradict with our laws that is]
Ryo then looked at Qiness and said
Ryo [As for you dear Qiness, You will drop your ministry over everything and from now on you are the Finance Minister, and also deputy Supreme minister, as for the third minister that would be my mother Sylphy, she will be the Environment minister, and she will share this job with mother Uzena, it's better for you two to be the ministers of environment due to your race's connection with it, as matter a fact, Aeron, instead of Merlin our mothers will give you the instructions on what to do in Tunlan Forest]
Sylphy wasn't expecting to be granted a job, so she was quite happy with her new position, it was very boring not to do anything
Sylphy [Thank you Ryo, I will try to impress you with my work]
Uzena [I too am honored, Ryo]
Ryo [Good, Now the-]
Arkhan [What about me Son?]
Ryo [Wot ?]
Arkhan [Don't tell me you haven't thought of a positions for me ?]
Ryo [Well, I mean you're the former King, I can't grant you an official title right ?]
Arkhan walked to the throne and smacked Ryo on the head and said
Arkhan [What? you expect me to baby sit your brothers and sisters all day? Give me a job, It's so boring in here!]
Ryo [I mean yeah, I thought you will baby sit from now on *smacked in the head* Oughh, Fine, Fine, You can be, uhhh, The Justice minister! yes, that suits you right?]
Arkhan [Oh, Yeah, that's good, hohoho, who can represent justice, better than me!]
Ryo [Yeah, sure justice, Beating your son to get the job, very justly of you *smacked in the head* Oughh]
Arkhan happy with his new position walked towards his wives when he reached there he was reprimanded for hitting his son, but overall the situations was very alright, so Ryo decided to go ahead and speak
Ryo [Well then, since you all are done, it's time to make my announcement I have decided to marry both Semiramis and Artoria, I know that this is a bit sudden, but I genuinely love them, and I hope that doesn't cause any unnecessary problems…]
Seeing that no one was speaking up against his decision, Ryo decided to continue, however he did notice the slight annoyance that was on Lita's face, so he placed a mental note to speak to her later
Ryo [Now, since everyone in this Room is trust worthy, it won't be a problem if I show you this…]
Getting up from his throne Ryo walked in the Middle of the court, when he reached the middle he said
Ryo [other than my servants, everyone else are worried about my ability to summon people, so I have decided to tell you all about it… I was born with an extraordinary ability, that ability lets me summon Heroes, these heroes, are very strong, as you all know, but they are also loyal, because without me they won't exist, now I was raised well, so I will never force them to work for me, so that should tell you that every servant I have has chosen to be here, Now then I will show you the process]
Then telepathically Ryo sent a message to all his servants, ordering them to keep everyone safe, if he accidentally summons a rogue servant, however with his luck stat and his new understanding of the summoning system, he wasn't too worried about it
As usual Ryo used 10FP to summon a servant this time he wanted a summon that would be the strategic pillar of his Kingdom, someone that can think fast, and very loyal, and after a bright red light that always comes when summoning a servant a man in his late thirties showed up, he was wearing a Red coat, and looked like a wise person
???[my name is Zhuge Liang, or at least I was supposed to be, my real name is Lord El-Melloi the second… I don't know how you managed to summon me, but I will serve you with pride, Master]
Everyone in the room was surprised seeing a man come out of nowhere of course that was excluding Ryo's servant
Ryo [Welcome, Zhuge Liang, Or perhaps you would like to be referred to as Lord El-Melloi, whichever it might be, I Welcome you to Babylon, My name is Ryouto Gilgamesh Arkhan, and I want you to serve as My Kingdom's Minister of War…]
Lord El-Melloi was shocked to get a Ministerial Position after seconds of his arrival so he said
El-Melloi [Isn't it a bit premature to grant me a high position like that?...…Ah, I see, you chose me specifically, you knew I would be the one to be summoned and you were preparing for me precisely, as matter a fact, you even planed for me to figure it out]
Ryo looked at the man with a smile as he said
Ryo [As expected of the Crouching Dragon, well then, It is my pleasure of having you as my Minister of War, so what do you think?]
El-Melloi [I'm honored to serve an intelligent man such as yourself, so yes, I accept]
Ryo [Well then, as you have all noticed, this is how I summon my Servants, it is very different to a certain summoning system, that forces the servants to work under you with Command spells, In my case, I don't need that, if they chose not to serve, than they can leave, Immediately]
Ryo said that as he looked at Sakura, Rin and Illya who were familiar with the old system
Arkhan [Has anyone ever left? did someone ever refused to serve?]
Ryo [At the moment no, but I believe that in the future some will, I usually summon servants that are generally loyal, or have a reason to be here, so they all rather stick with me, Guess I'm lucky in that aspect !]
Ryo then looked around him and said
Ryo [Than let us continue, I plan to summon up to five more servant!]
Ryo then activated his system again, as he watched another 10 FP go down the Gacha rabbit hole, but it doesn't matter, he isn't some plebeian with no luck, as matter a fact he is a Demon Emperor With EX-Luck!
Ryo watched as the bright usual Red light shone and from it another figure emerged, it was a Large muscular man, with a strong build, that man was obviously Heracles, Ryo watched as Heracles, Simply Bowed, he expected some screaming or anger, since this guy was a Berserker, but then he remembered his Title [Berserker Grail God] which gave him an Authority That lets him Pacify Berserkers
Illya [BASAKA !!!!]
Illya came rushing to Berserkers' Embrace, jumping into the giant men's arms hugging him, and as expected the Giant allowed her too, which meant that he retained his memories of her
"I see, so even Heracles doesn't recognize his Berserker side to be real... his rage goes beyond normal, which means if i summon the other Heracles he will have the normal body, while this one took over the raged body, this is quit interesting, Heracles is stronger than the throne of heroes can contain so he was split in two or maybe he split himself ? quit intriguing"
Ryo [Well then I guess your job has been decided, Take care of her Big man]
Ryo watched as the duo returned to his right side, and seeing the comically different size difference between them he chuckled to himself
He then turned around to summon another servant, and after a brief eye blinding light, A figure emerged, it was a Man with a golden Armor around him and green hair that had a small bang hanging, this man was of course Achilles, The swift hero
Achilles [You just hit the Servant summoning jackpot! I'm Achilles, a Rider-class Servant Yep, I'm the hero everyone knows for having only his weakness being his he-… Oh, it's you, well, I guess you did promise, than as long as you honor our agreement, I will serve Under you for the rest of my life, King Ryouto Gilgamesh Arkhan]
Ryo [I prefer, Ryo, You earned that right, Achilles]
Achilles [Well, Is this the world you told me about, I can already feel it, No Greek Gods in here, although I miss my mother's aura, Hmmm, Magic is very high in this world]
Ryo [I can already tell that you will enjoy your stay in this world Achilles, but first I'll have to settle some matters, before I tell you about your task, Go rest over there, That is Rama one of my best friends]
Achilles [Sure, I don't mind]
Achilles walked towards the group on Ryo's left and watched Ryo Summon another Servant
From the light a Large Man, wearing a samurai Armor and a Helmet with two dear horns on it came out, He had a Large Spear on His Back and a pair of two samurai Swords in his Belt, The Man looked Curiously Around Him and then he looked down to see Ryo and screamed
??? [One Of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tokugawa, Tadakatsu Honda, Rider and Lancer Class servant, I suppose I'm both, If following you will bring Honor to my Name than I shall be your retainer!]
Ryo [Welcome Tadakatsu Honda, As the King of Babylon, it is an Honor to have you as My retainer, I can assure you, serving me will make your name known to the world, As the Spear of Babylon Please feel free to tell me of any request you may have!]
Honda [I can't think of anything in particulars, serving as a Warrior again is enough, although I would love to be allowed to read books and perhaps spar with some of the people here, they all seem strong !]
Ryo [Sure why not! As long as no one gets hurt its allowed, there is also large library in my castle, that contains a wide variety of books you're free to read as much as you want]
Honda [Oh, That's great, I appreciate that, will read them, Thank you so much My Lord]
Ryo then watched as Honda joined the Left group
Ryo "Who would have thought that someone with so much muscles, would love to read, Guess you really can't judge a book by its cover"
