After losing his duel against Gion it was unknown how long he was unconscious but the sound of humming woke him from his sleep and while his eyes are still close the noise from the cracking from the rice crackers is like the sound from cannon fire or thunderstorm hitting his head which is really intolerable for his sleep and twitching his eyes he wanted to scold the person responsible for the noise.

Garp who is just returned from his village after moving Luffy to an old friend he got to know Ryo is recovering from an injury that he suffered in a fight against Gion and decided to come visit him just to find him sleeping and started getting bored so he decided to eat his bag of rice crackers when he saw Ryo's eyes are twitching indicating he has woke up and started making fun of Ryo "Bwahahaham... It is not guilt that made her come but the fight yesterday was very helpful for her improvement and she enjoyed it very much so she accepted him as her subordinate.

While coming to his cabin she is happy thinking he will be a good training partner and they will improve a lot while fighting together which is a good thing for her besides he is a young handsome man and she wonders how handsome he will be in the future although she is in her early 20s she is yet to enjoy what is love and she likes younger and stronger man so he can be a candidate for her but when she arrived at the door of the cabin she heard him calling her older which made her so angry that she ran inside and punching him out of the cabin asked "Who are you calling old you basterd? "

As Ryo is arguing with Garp he wasn't much cautious as he never expected to get attached and failed to protect himself from her punch and started screaming while flying though the window "Aaaa~ "

"Bahaha here he goes flying. " Garp started laughing pointing at Ryo flying through the air.

"Ah! I send him flying mistakenly. " Gion said with a shocked face looking at the window.

As he knows Ryo will be fine and return in no time he asked turning towards Gion "How are you doing nowadays Girl? "

"I am managing my base very well Vice-Admiral Garp. " Gion said with a polite smile.

"I heard you didn't want to accept him as a subordinate now that you have a fight what is your opinion about him? " Garp asked with a laugh.

"When are we going? " Ryo asked with a smile while taking a bite from an apple from his bedside as if he is talking about a newbie pirate, not an Emperor.

"Ah forget it beating the red hair is too much of a hassle he never stays in a single place.

Besides I have left him with Dadan and her gang he will be fine there and I am sure Shanks won't find him there and he will not be influenced by Pirates by criminals anymore... " Garp said with a sigh.

Hearing his answer Ryo asked with a smile "You mean Curly Dadan the mountain Bandit with whom you have left your Adapted grandson who is at the same age as me right? "

"Yes, that is where I left Ace and I am sure the two brothers will be happy and staying there Luffy will not want to become a Pirate King. " Garp said with a serious face.

"Are serious you have left your grandson to not getting influenced by a criminal to live with another criminal talk about reformation plan this is really unbelievable… " Ryo started laughing looking at Garp as if he is the biggest idiot in the world.

"Stop laughing you brat what do you know Ace is doing good and I am sure Luffy will as well. " Garp said with an angry face hearing him laughing just like how he was laughing at his defeat.

"You say he will be fine than tell me did Ace change his mind about being the Pirate King yet? " Ryo asked back with a smile.

"He will sooner or later if he doesn't I will make him. " Garp said with a serious face.

"I am sure you will. " Ryo said not arguing anymore with Garp as he knows it is pointless and they started talking about some random issues and finally Garp left saying "Congratulation on your promotion brat. "

"Thank you for everything old man. " Ryo said behind him with a smile.

After Garp left Ryo started thinking about his life till now in this world and let out a sigh "It's been over 3 years already. "

"What is years? " suddenly a deep voice interrupted him from the door and turning to the door he saw Hina and the smoker standing there and asked "You have also come to visit me? "

"Well your battle with Gion was pretty amazing so I decided to come and see how are you doing? " Smoker said with a smile as he sat where Garp was sitting a few moments ago.

"Hina was worried so Hina came to know if you have recovered? " Hina said with a smile looking at him fine.

"You know she would come to visit every hour even after teacher Zephyr's scolding. " Smoker said with a chuckle.

"Smoker you basterd you promised Hina you will not say that to him. " Hina said angrily while punching Smoker just for her to pass through him and falling on Ryo who caught him in a hug asking "Are you alright? "

"Hina is fine but Hina isn't the person you should be worried but Hina should be worried about you. " Hina said with a smile.

"Well, I am fine thank you for worrying about me. " Ryo said with a smile.

"It's alright Hina doesn't mind. " Hina said with a smile before freeing herself from his hug even if she doesn't want to but she still can't be that much shameless in front of Smoker.

"I heard you were promoted to the Commodore Rank. " Smoker said with a smile.

"Well, it was because of my fight with the CP-9 agent the other day. " Ryo explained with a smile after a long discussion they left and before going out they said they will also apply for a promotion soon and Hina promised the same base as him.

Marine G-8 Base…

Navarone Island…

Although a Marine Base in the Grandline is under command of a Marine Vice-Admiral however this base is under the authority of Rear-Admiral Gion for her standing among the Marines although she is a Rear-Admiral because of the low number of Marine officials this base is under her authority for she is the strongest Rear-Admiral right now and in near future will be promoted to the rank of a Vice-Admiral.

On his way here from a new Marine recruit of this base, he got to know directly under her is a Commodore named Jonathan who is in his early 30s and the tactician for most of the operation around here and today Ryo has joined her as another Commodore for helping in the base.

Upon landing at the port of the G8 base they found some of the battleships are broken and getting fixed as Gion asked looking at an injured Jonathan "What happend while I was not present? "

"While we were patrolling around the nearby island we found the Wolf Pirates attacking a nearby Island and stopped them from eradicating the village but they were too strong and we suffered a heavy loss but the village is safe for now. " Jonathan said with a serious face when his Transponder snail started rining as Gion asked "Answer it. "

"Yes, Rear-Admiral. " Jonathan said before receiving a call just to hear "Commodore they are back and this time they brought two more ships to attack we need imidate backup. "

"Alright hold on we are on our way. " Jonathan said with a serious face as Gion ordered him "You take command of the base for the time being and let everyone who got injured to get medical attention while I will personally take care of the Darty Wolf. "
