It was hard to hide her shocked expression, and Bel didn't try to. She just watched them walk into the building. She hadn't been able to see the young woman clearly, so Bel couldn't tell if she was a vampire or human, but somehow she thought it was the latter.
"Bel," Davien stretched out his hand. "You should come down."
She glanced at him. "Who was that?"
"Aren't you a curious little one?" he asked. "Do you always ask about everything you see?"
"I am not a little one, and I take it you have no intention of telling me," she replied.
"It's not my place to say," he said and stretched out his hand. "I am sure you'll understand that. If she wants to introduce herself to you, she will. You can ask her who she is then."
