Chapter 1: Chaos (Intro)
Zackary jerked at the restraints holding him to the dungeon wall.
"IS ANYONE THERE?" he yelled out. He had ended up in the castle dungeon because of his idiotic brother, who had tried to steal from a cart passing by. Turned out it was delivering goods to the royal family. Now they were both locked up in here, though Zachary had no idea where his brother was at.
A couple minutes ago there had been screaming and the sound of cannons, so the gaurds had rushed out to see what the commotion was. Zachary again tried to free himself. Suddenly, he heard someone coming down the stairs, but slowly. It sounded very strange, like someone was injured. Thump, draaaaag, thump, draaaaag.
"Hello? Can you please help me?" Zachary called out.
The person turned the corner. What Zachary saw next horrified him. It was his brother. But, not the same. It had definitely been his brother at one point but now, he had rotted flesh, and wounds that certainly no man or woman could withstand.
"Jackson? What happened!? We've only been here for a few days, how could you be so injured?" Zachary asked. All he got in reply was a low moan.
"Jackson, grab the keys from the wall and let me out" Zachary told his brother.
Jackson just stared at him. Then, slowly, Jackson moved forward, towards Zachary.
"No, you must grab the keys first." Zachary said.
Suddenly, Jackson leapt forward, running faster than Zachary thought possible. With a horrifying screech, the dead Jackson lunged at Zachary.
