Your Death, My Birth
Drained, I pour my heart out,
Soaked in distress,
Puzzled! My mind, my body and soul I am,
Who am I?
Am I an alien to endeavor such grief?
I am worn out in tears,
A wet paper soaked in blood,
Your death, my birth.
A silent brother you lay stiff,
I speak to you in my thoughts,
I cry out in desolation,
Wake up! My birth day is here,
Why are you leaving me in anguish?
On my special month,
Shall I call it a grievance day?
Your death, my birth.
An event is planned,
My birthday party,
Yet here I am lost in translation,
Trying to find solace and isolation,
Your death compasses my pain,
A dagger pierced deep within,
I slumber awaken, drenched,
Startled I gaze at your corpse,
Calamities have become my friend,
I don't long for a celebration,
A lover, a friend has departed,
Gone to the dark world with no sight,
Do I reverse the hour glass?
Shall I call upon the heavenly beings?
Disputed you lay unshaken,
And death not showing any remorse,
For it is my birthday and your departure.
