A year later.
"Ring ring—"
Early in the morning, while Ji Nuan was still snuggled between the sheets with a pillow in her arms, her phone began to ring.
She felt around for her phone with barely opened eyes. Three words were displayed on the screen above the alarm clock reminder: "Feed the babies."
This was an automatic reminder set on her phone for every morning. The two babies needed to be fed 150 milliliters of either milk powder or breastmilk after waking up each day.
The Mo family had specially hired a nutritionist for them. According to the two babies' weight and condition, they were scheduled for fixed amounts of milk at specific times. Apparently, alternating between milk powder and breastmilk in this manner would be beneficial for the twins' development.
However, this reminder often only functioned to wake Ji Nuan up…
Hello Readers!
Happy to see all of you here at the finish line of Nuan Nuan and Shensheng's story.
Now, we are entering into the side stories. As we worked with Feng Ling's side story, we found her age problematic. This was problematic since when this side story starts, and Nanheng develops an interest in her, she is 16, which means she is underage.
We understand that some people will feel uncomfortable with this as we did, but we still wanted to tell this story because we love Feng Ling.
We decided to be true to the author's work and raised Feng Ling's age by one year, so she is 17 instead of 16. This is the age we felt comfortable translating and editing which makes sense and stays true to the meaning, background, and overall pace of the story.
I hope you all understand. I hope you love this side story as much as we did, and I hope you all give Feng Ling and Nanheng a chance. I feel that since we got to this point, we should go all the way.
So, let's read on!
