Chapter 34: Chapter 34 - Frozen Heart

Once a strong and blazing sun was getting smaller and weaker. Half of it was frozen and the second half was fighting for survival.

Violet sat before it and watched as both she and the core were being consumed by the ice. Their bodies were covered in cold crystals, and the life force was being eaten away. It was painful at first, even a simple breath could freeze her lungs. But now she can't sense anything anymore.

The feeling of nothingness and emptiness is one of the worst a person can experience.

"You did a really foolish thing."

A shadow slowly walked behind her.

Violet tried to turn her head towards the voice, but she couldn't move her frozen neck. She couldn't see it, but she could feel the immense presence.

"You are dying," the creature whispered to her.

One of her eyes was already blind, but another blinked and widened in shock. The huge white beast looking like a wolf appeared next to her as it watched her last moments.
