Chapter 139: Big Challenge

Mariela's POV

I felt so glad Archer didn't try to stop me when I ran away from them. I couldn't deny I loved kissing my husband; it felt so good to be in his arms again, but I didn't want to be his toy anymore. If he wants to be gentle and sweet to me, I will always give in to his game, but I am afraid he will make me suffer again by hurting me by doing some things that could make me feel so jealous, like bringing another girl at their mansion.

It wasn't easy for me to leave my hometown and be with Archer. But since, I feel obligated to stay with him for two years because of my guilt that he became a different man. I realize it wasn't my fault that he turned into a wicked man because no matter how I tried to do my best to make him love me again, it was futile.
