Stuart's rage was most apparent as his eyes swept over the women assembled. He had a faint smile of cynical amusement on his lips. "Do you not like the food I brought you?" he asked.

The look of anguish and reproach, which met their eyes, seemed to cast the young women into great confusion. Every trace of color had left Andy's face. Her eyes were fixed upon Stuart. 'Who is this man? He asked the teacher if we could take a break and said he was Edie's husband. He can't be?' These thoughts kept going around and around in her head. Andy had a feeling that something bad was about to happen. 'He stares at me like he wants to kill me.' She had no idea what was going on or what was going to happen to her.

"Hello, my name is....." One of Edie's classmates was about to introduce herself to Stuart, but he pushed back a table and kicked aside a chair. She looked up with a confused expression on her face.

"I have no intention of shaking your hand," Stuart replied coldly.
