' What?' Yeongje almost blurted out loudly.

He can't believe that Han Yonggi ability actually looks decent than he thought. On top of that, his vocal was B-?

If it's was balancing, shouldn't it become C- at least? Like in the middle? He feels weird how the system balances all the gred according to the lowest gred.

'I guess that just how the system works' he shrugs it off.

After discovering that the system was a pervert, he lost all his expectations on it.

Even when relising how useless the skill he got, he didn't even feel surprise.

He shook his head in defeat.

"Hey,"

Yeonggi was started as Minjun was walking towards him.

"Uh- yeah?"

He stared at Yeonggi with his unreadable face.

He sighed. " Are you okay? You acting kind of strange today"

'What?'

Yeonggi was confused with the sudden screen that appeared in front of him and overlaps the previous status screen.

'That's new,' he thought.

"Are you sick? Do you want to rest today?" Minjun asked him, worried.

He was lost for words, and nervousness took over him as his eyes darted around the place, trying to find the right words and actions.

Minjun saw the change of his personality and felt weird.

"I don't know what's going on, but if you have a problem, it would be nice if you tell me," Minjun continued asking him.

"I uh-" Yeonggi needs to find believable excuses on the spot and feed it to Minjun.

But as always, every time he feels nervous, his mind seemingly becomes empty.

Then suddenly he snapped.

Wait-why am I overwork myself too much? He thought before slowly calming down.

That's right. He just needs to act like how Yeonggi usually does. Since Yeonggi was already a sly person, he was also a secretary person.

And obviously, since both Han Yeonggi and Minjun had been friends since they were trainee, as much as Yeonggi tried to hide his real personality.

Minjun had already seen some of his true personality, and one of them was Han Yeonggi being private about his feelings.

Of course, that also means Minjun knows the happy and friendly character that had been played by Han Yeonggi all along was also just a fabric to cover his real feelings.

If he thinks carefully, the closest person to ever see his true personality is Minjun.

That's why he could relax around Minjun and stay in contact with him this whole time even after leaving the agency.

Since he didn't know what Han Yeonggi truly thinks of Minjun, just by guessing his personality.

He could guess that after all this time, putting on a fake persona and playing a character that he made up. Must had made him feel tired, tense, and always on high alert.

He must feel relaxed and comfortable around Minjun, and he decided to keep him by his side. It must have been like a place where he could breathe in a fresh air.

After all, if it's doesn't bring him any benefits, Yeongje was sure that Han Yeonggi would not hesitate to throw him out by subtly leaving him.

Since he had a reputation to keep, he won't make himself as a villain. That is why he will use an indirect way to make up a reason for him to stay away from others.

And he had done that plenty of time, and every single time, he will always succeed. Most of his victim that failed into his trap blaming themselves.

However, life doesn't always go the way you plan. A few of his victims notice his actions and start to alert other people near him by spreading rumours about him.

Although what they said kinda make sense, not everyone believed them. Thanks to the persona that he had built up for so long, it had finally shown it worth.

Han Yeonggi then officially had rumours circulated around him in a negative way. Han Yeonggi must be angry since his reputation now had been tainted.

However, opposite to what everyone thought, deep down, he was kinda happy.

Being able to freely manipulate others and easily get everything he wanted. Slowly make him feel bored. And now that a new obstacle had appeared on his path, he was more than happy to struggle while overcoming his trouble.

That is what Yeongje assumes, since after a rumours spread around the trainee about him. He went back home lock himself in the room, stuffed a blanket on his mouth before laughing maniacally.

'He seem pretty happy to me,'

And while all of that incident happened, Minjun was stuck by his side. Didn't even leave him or even question him regardless of the rumours.

Just like how a best friend would act.

Han Yeonggi knew that Minjun wasn't any better than him. No one with a sane mind will stay with him after knowing his true personality.

Just like how Han Yeonggi letting Minjun stay beside him for benefits, he assumed Minjun must also do the same by enduring all these uncomfortable feelings around Han Yeonggi

Since he also knows some of Han Yeonggi real personality, he also could gain benefit by just staying his side.

Yeongje make three possibility.

Firstly. By staying beside Han Yeonggi, Minjun will shine more since he is more talented than Han Yeonggi. If he had some inferior complex, this might be his main reason.

Though Yeongje doubted that even true, considering that in their's former agency. Minjun was the favourite child that everyone adored.

When he means everyone, he means the higher-ups. The other trainee and even the actors who had debut were jealous of him.

Some even tried to pick a fight with him, when Han Yeonggi everyone 'friends' save him.

Secondly. He knows some of Han Yeonggi true personality. He could avoid trouble since he knows Han Yeonggi won't let anything stand on his path, even when the harm won't give him any impact.

Maybe Minjun views Han Yeonggi as a sociopath, a crazy fox with rabbies that will bite everyone he finds troublesome to deal with.

Or more lika a fortress that he could use to hide from the upcoming attacks.

'Well, if that is what he thinks, he is not wrong.'

And thirdly. Minjun might be a twisted person itself.

Well, if that was the case, it might be harder to act like Han Yeonggi with a twisted person beside him.

Yet, he hasn't had any proof to verify his third theory.

If he stands in third person view. The relationship between these two are just how a normal best friend would act, as they thought each other as their blood related brothers.

They were so close with each other since their trainee days until they joined a survival show together in the hope of debuting and achieved their's dream.

'Why does the more he explore, the more messy it became.'

He could only remember specific things when it gets triggered.

He was expecting he could just see through Han Yeonggi memory like an open book. However, it only work like a normal memory.

Without him relising, he had been silent for a while, and now Minjun and Yeongje were both standing facing each other for almost 2 minutes.

After finally doing a bunch of theories on his mind.

Yeonggi finally spoke.

"Nothing~, then should we continue on practising?" Yeonggi was smiling widely, without any hint of guilt for holding up Minjun too long.

Yeonggi takes a peek at the percentage. He assumed that it would tell him how much Minjun trusted him.

And if the percentage drops so low, that might result in him failing the mission. But he didn't feel any confident yet, since that might be very well be another thing.

Even after hearing Yeonggi, Minjun still had his doubt. As he just silently stared at him, without much change of expression.

Without waiting for Minjun answer, Yeongje acts just like how Yeonggi act.

Gaslighting other.

He quickly stepped in front of the mirror and started to dance, without even the turning on the song

While dancing, he could see Minjun through the reflection from the mirror. He was still standing there watching him from behind with the same expression. Observing him silently.

Then, he abruptly stopped dancing.

While keeping his gaze on Minjun through reflection, Yeonggi had a marked expression on his face.

"Are you just gonna stand there? We waste a lot of time if we don't start practising now. "

For a second, Minjun expression crumble as he furrowed his brown.

'I guess he was annoyed. I mean, who wouldn't? If it was me, I wouldn't be able to handle my emotions and start to yell at other '

Minjun sighs a deep breath before stepping towards him and standing beside him with appropriate distance. Leaving a space in the middle of them to avoid crashing each other while dancing.

Without saying another word, Minju pressed play on his phone screen before laying down his phone away from his feet.

Compared to before, the amount of correction he needed to make was less than previously.

That could be very mean, two things.

One he was mad, and second, it's related to his gred.

Although he was sure C- means he is capable of dancing, without making much mistake. It's was still crystal clear that he still made some mistakes while dancing.

After all, he is not an A or S tier in dance.

His dance ability was barely accepted in the idol world, where a bunch of talented people gathered.

'I wonder what kind of gred his dance are?' He was curious, but then he quickly eliminated the thought that was clouding his mind.

And went back to focus dancing and fix the part that Minjun pointed out.

They practice for 2 more hours before rest for a bit, then continue on another 2 hours.
