Chapter 1: The Shock
Year 12020, After the announcement of various global resource's drying up the whole world was to say very shocked but nothing the people cant handle. The various governments knowing that some day that the whole world's resources might be used up before the world dies had set up a plan back at the year 2020. The plan called AFTER SHOCK was made to find new ways to go to different places where humans can live, thrive, and rebuild civilization. Testing started 500 years after 2020, the first test was to send people through rockets to different planets to inhabit them. This plan did not work as it was estimated that before humans even reached inhabitable planets they would die from loss of water and other necessities for human to live.
The second plan was to send robots to the various planets and to then dig up the resources from there and send it back to Earth. This plan was also scrapped as the time to send, dig up, and then send back the resources back to Earth would take too long and humans would have already been wiped out before these resources can get to Earth.
The third plan was to create a gate or portal to send humans to inhabitable places. This plan after some small test of the gates and portals were said to be possible and was able to safely send things into a inhabitable place. Thus with this plan in mind the various governments around the world formed a alliance and agreement to make and send every human to the inhabitable place which they called planet EDEN.
After 9500 years later, after announcing the drying up of various resources the governments cleaned up all those who tried steal and pillage for themselves. After this the governments also announced that they had a way to save humanity through a portal,which will transport humans to a inhabitable place which they called EDEN and from there humans are to survive and rebuild. They also announced that where they are going are to 10000 places where they are left to rebuild.
For the planet, EDEN, the governments had said that they had only explored what they believe is 10% of the whole planet. They believe it to be at least 1000 if not 10000 times the size of Earth. They also had said to sent 1000 human test subjects and over half of them haven't been heard of again. As for the other half they had said to have gained weird energy which they are able to gather into their bodies to make them stronger or to conjure things like fire or water, the government had named this Mana. It's also said that guns and other mechanical related things had been destroyed when taken to EDEN by a weird force that was not mana.
After this the government had opened up their portals to EDEN to people all around the world. People shall now step forward to a new frontier where people shall fight Gods and Devils to gain their standing in the world
