--3rd POV--
It was the first day of the middle school year, and the social ladder was already being established. Those who thought they would be low on it, tried to stick to those who would clearly be popular and have all the attention. Izuku Midoriya was neither. He wasn't popular, nor did he go out of his way to hang around those deemed as popular. His elementary school years had taught him that nobody wants to be friends with the "quirkless kid". So, he sat in the back of the classroom and tried to stay out of sight. Unfortunately, that was just wishful thinking.
"Take a look back there. Isn't that the quirkless kid from last year?" Midoriya's face started heating up as the conversation taking place at the front of the class reached his ears. He put his head down, hoping that the conversation would just stop there. "Uh, yeah. I think that's him. Same green hair. Looks like the same height too. Why?" Another guy asked. "Heh. No reason. Why don't we go say hello to our old friend?" Midoriya froze up hearing this. "C'mon man. Didn't you have your fill of picking on the guy last year?" The other voice sneered. "You're one to talk! He was basically your slave last year. 'Izuku do this, Izuku do that.' Stop messing around and come on."
Izuku could hear two pairs of footsteps approaching him. Sweat dripped from his face as he kept his head down, hoping that the teacher would come and stop them, or someone would help. But he knew this wouldn't happen. His only real friend, Mari, didn't go to school. And the teachers? They never cared. "Oi. If you wanna live, don't mess with the loser." The voice surprised all three of them. The two boys turned around to see none other than Katsuki Bakugo.
The boys knew who he was. He had a reputation for being the strongest kid in elementary school. To say they were surprised would be an understatement. Bakugo was Midoriyas nightmare for as long as they could remember. But still, neither wanted to start a fight with him. They knew how that would end. "B-Bakugo, how you been man? We were just being friendly!" "Y-yeah!" They both stuttered. "Whatever. Move." Bakugo said, and the boys were happy to comply.
Bakugo took the seat in front of Midoriya. "Th-thank y-" "Save it. Mari is the only reason I did it. The Gorilla would be pissed if she found out about this, and I didn't do anything." Bakugo scoffed. Whatever the reason, Midoriya was just relieved that nothing happened.
"Good morning class. I'll be your teacher this year, Mr. Toriyama. Let's get started with attendance." A tall man with thinning hair said. Hours passed quickly as most of the day was just introductions. Before I knew it, it was 12. "Mr. Toriyama, there's a student heading to your class." The intercom buzzed.
--Mari POV--
"Why is this damn thing so tight?!" I groaned as I loosened the tie on the uniform. this shirt felt like it was suffocating my upper body. This skirt was almost insultingly small, and these stocking are making my legs itchy. The sleeves looked like they were fastened to my skin, I could see my toned stomach through the shirt, and this collar is tight as all hell! I ripped off the tie before arriving at class. "Room 1-H. Finally." I slid the door open and walked inside, standing in front of the class. "Ah. You must be the student I was informed about. Would you mind introducing yourself to the class?"
Mari had been training even harder the past year. Her arms were roughly twice the size as they were a year ago, and her legs were even bigger than that. Her nappy hair had grown to her lower back, and she had scars all over her body (rock shrapnel from training while not using her quirk). Some big, some small, but most notably there was one right on the bridge of her nose. It wasn't overly large, but definitely noticeable.
"Sure. I don't mind." I sighed before turning to the class. I could see the mixed feelings on the faces of my peers. The girls looked with confusion and bewilderment, while the guys looked with varied expressions, ranging from perverted to confliction.
"Hey. I'm Mari Chitari." I could feel a vein bursting from my head as giggles spread around the class. "Feel free to call me Mari.." I said with a strained smile through gritted teeth. "I like working out, Strawberry ice-cream, and Berserk. Let's try to get along." I bowed. "Now, does anyone have any questions for Ms.Chitari?" Woah woah I don't remember saying I'd do those. "Hold on I di-" "Ah you there in the middle?" The teacher cut me off. Well I guess it won't hurt. How bad could it be? "Yeah excuse me mom- I mean Mari!" That bad apparently... "How much do you lift??" The student asked.
Thank Kami. I thought he was gonna ask me something else. "Around 700kg without my quirk. The weight varies depending on my quirk." I said with a bit of pride. I hate bragging, but I take some pride in my body. The variety of "oohs" and "ahs" didn't do anything but strengthen my ego.
Before anyone could ask another question, I walked from the front of the class and looked for a seat. My eyes scanned the room, before they widened at who I saw. "Freckles! And Bakago!"
--3rd POV--
To everyone's surprise, Mari charged across the class and pick both boys up in a headlock. "Thank Kami I'm in a class with you two!" Mari sighed. Mari wasn't comfortable with new surroundings, but being there with people she knew helped her adapt.
"L-lemme go you Gorilla!" Bakugo yelled, trying to fight the blush spreading across his face. "G-g-glad to see you too, Mari!" Midoriya had lost the battle. His face was a deep red as he tried to pull his face away from the females chest. The class looked in surprise, shock, and jealousy. "Dude. She's friends with Midoriya, AND Bakugo? Those guys are like water and oil.." one said. "Lucky bastards.." another said.
Mari sighed before letting the boys go. "Seriously. I'm glad I'm in here with you guy!" The bright smile Mari gave nearly took Midoriyas consciousness. "Y-yeah. Me too!" He responded. "Whatever.." The still red Bakugo responded.
