Chapter 21: A Beat Down or Two
Through the following months, Ryozanpaku became livelier and livelier as the rest of the Valkyries joined Ryozanpaku much to a certain pervert's pleasure.
"Can you tone it down?" Xander spoke coldly to his pervert sensei
"I don't know what you mean" Kensei denied quickly as he wiped his drool off
Xander was meditating trying to access his Ki better. After learning Seikuken, Xander began exploring Ki more deeply. So far he got body enhancing and senses enhancing which do as their name suggests.
If Ki had to be compared to something it would be Haki.
Body enhancing = Armament Haki
Seikuken/senses enhancing = Observation Haki
And the application Xander is currently working on conqueror's Haki aka Ki pressure. That is where the similarities end though as Haki is stronger than Ki in those aspects, assumable, while Ki has several other functions, such as healing, longevity and connecting to nature.
The problem with Xander's training is the presence of a disturbing bastard who is giggling like a loon, while Shigure is training the Valkyries… who are wearing similar outfits to Shigure's.
"It is ok to appreciate the female form, but you are disturbing Sensei" Xander scratched his chin in thought "maybe I should tell Renka about how her dad is perving on girls her age?"
"What do you want?" Kensei asked with a serious face
Xander adapted a serious demeanour "no more perving on the Ryozanpaku girls"
"… all of them?" Kensei asked incredulously
Xander nodded "you are a master of this dojo and shouldn't abuse your position"
"I have never abused my authority" he argued
"Doesn't matter, you need to act like a good master" Xander then grinned "or the misses will get a letter explaining many, many things"
Xander enjoyed the pale face Kensei had on before ignoring him to continue meditating. It was always, in the simplest of terms, entertaining, to shut down a pervert.
Even a well meaning one.

"Damn" Sakaki spoke softly as hetook the sight of Xander standing over the twitching form of Christopher Éclair the renowned assassin
Sakaki got a job to protect a VIP from a well-known assassin coming after him. Seeing it as an opportunity, the Ryozanpaku masters decided it would be a good experience for Xander.
It wasn't.
In his life as Xander Harris, Xander took on the job of protecting many VIPs from things worse than a master martial artist.
"Hey, he came at me with a split kick, what am I supposed to do, not take the shot?" Xander asked indignantly
Sakaki just shrugged with an amused smile "I'm with you, but that wasn't one shot now was it?"
"Let me teach you something Sakaki-sensei" Xander stood a bit taller as he raised his head and puffed his chest "there is no such thing as over kill"
The serious face of Kenichi combined with the high pitched groaning of Christopher caused Sakaki to lose it and start laughing, much to Kenichi's amused chagrin.

A month later Xander was regretting ending the fight with Christopher so quickly as he stagnated ever so slightly… as much as someone with a system can anyways.
However another chance came in the form of a Chinese hit man by the name of Li Tenmon. He's a real piece of work though as he uses his daughters as a weapon, a tool, for his take down of Ryozanpaku.
Raichi Li, the daughter was an avid Drunken Fist martial artist. She attacked the Shinpaku alliance headquarters while Xander was there to berate Nijima.
She was an easy enough fight, though Kenichi took his time with her and learned as much as he can of the drunken fist style she uses.
A few minutes into the fight Kenichi was able to talk her down, convincing her that she doesn't have to kill to live.
Being a sour loser Tenmon attacked his daughter as she surrendered… or tried to. Instead of striking her as he intended, he found himself striking a knife by the blade.
Fighting Tenmon proved a blessing as Xander's technique proved itself to be closer to a master than he originally thought. Seeing himself injured and losing, Tenmon decided to cut his losses and run. As he turned to escape, he found himself unable to. Something was pressing on him hard.
Turning, he saw a giant fist coming towards him, filling him with dread.
Then, it was dark.
'Looks like Ogata still has contacts outside if he was able to hire this bastard' Xander thought to himself
*Ahem* Nijima attracted everyone's attention "party to celebrate our Capitan's victory and the new member Raichi" he announced with grandeur to the cheers of all around
Xander just sighed and gave up protesting. The damn alien is too good at what he does and you know what they say:

The anniversary of Miu's mother's death came again. It was obvious due to Miu's distracted look and sombre demeanour. This was however elevated by Kenichi and the girls as they supported her and went with her to her mother's burial site.
The rest of the day was spent in a botanical garden where they were being followed by the leader of Yomi Sho Kano who in turn was being followed by a ghost.
-In the park-
"Ladies, would you mind starting the picnic first, I need to visit the men's room" Xander spoke apologetically
"Just hurry" Kisara shouted at him and waived him off
"Yes, yes cat princess" Xander playfully sing-songed as he ran away… bravely
It took only a moment to get to Sho's location "I never thought you would come to me yourself. I was worried I couldn't get to… URGH"
Whatever he had to say was interrupted by Xander's fist meeting his face "I don't have time to spend with you. Today is a precious day off" Xander then closed in to be almost nose to nose with the boy sitting on the floor, speaking coldly "and you are ruining it"
A couple broken bones and a call for the pickup team later and Xander was happily having a picnic with five beauties.
It was a week later that the mood fell, when news of a prison escape came to Ryozanpaku's attention, where three prisoners escaped. The three being, Ogata, Sho and Sogetsu. Apparently Tenmon didn't escape because he didn't want to chance a meet with the 'Demon Brat'… Rude.
It was a good thing that Xander had a ghost on it, now he knows where to strike.
'Got to love paranoia' Xander mused
