Chapter 70: Chapter 70: Reopening Lady Song Yue's death case

They stood behind Pei Qin and Li Jin. I look at everyone and check their reactions. Pei Qin moves in the middle, and he's the one who speaks first.

"Greetings, Your Highness. I wish to reopen the death case of Song Yue."

The officials start murmuring. They are all surprised because of his request. Minister Shu steps in the middle.

"Your Highness, Song Yue's death has been cleared. She commits suicide because of her mental health," he says.

Song Jialun steps in the middle. "Your Highness, my mother didn't commit suicide. She was killed. I also wish to reopen this case," he remarks. Su Ming Xi steps out.

"Your Highness, if Minister Pei Qin can present evidence to prove that Lady Song Yue's case isn't a suicide, reopening a case shouldn't be a problem," he says.
