Chapter 98: The Pain of Losing Her

The falling leaves have a calm nature to it. Those dainty leaves falling gently from their branches could give someone a peace of mind. A faint smile was lurking on my lips as I picked the leaves away from the grassy ground beside me.

I remembered telling my mate that the fall season reminds me how I met Luke for the first time in a pub, it hurts her then. She will never know that without trying she already displaced that memory long before. That it was not Luke anymore that I think of during the falling of the leaves, it was her, all her.

I sighed.

How the time flies. It seems like I've only met her yesterday. The cool breeze gently blew in my direction, and the leaves I'd been diligently picking from the grassy spot beside me floated back from where I picked them. I chuckled.
