Chapter 287: Leaving The Village

"Aunt! What the fuck..... What did you do with my people!" As soon as Devon stepped inside the hall, his voice full of resentment sounded afterward.

Devon didn't even glance at his aunt before he uttered those cold words, and it was only until after he had gotten to the center of the hall, did he stare at the matriarch. "Hmmm!" Seeing the stunned expression, she had on his face, Devon's eyebrow furrowed.

..... He turned around, looking for what it is, his aunt was looking at behind him, and despite Devon's effort, he wasn't able to see anything apart from a hall completely empty with only two people in it.

Devon's eyes stared back at his aunt, and the longer he stared into her eyes, the more he realized that there was something unusual going on in the hall that he wasn't able to see.
