Chapter 6: Unique skill - 'Touching nose with tongue' - 2

"Did someone just say 'unique'?" Arjun's lips twitched. Fore some reason, he really felt like that word sounds too displeasing.

Hearing Arjun's words, Johan was surprised a bit. Whether in University or outside, he rarely saw Arjun talking. This introverted guy talking so loudly was indeed a small surprise. Still, it was just small. Quickly composing himself, he replied with a calm smile "Unique indeed. We want make this time's Spirit Award Fest special. So we need to do something special instead of routine."

Arjun's eyes narrowed a bit as he asked "So as long one can do something unique, he or she can perform in Spirit Award Fest?"

Arjun's words made Johan a bit uneasy. After all he was just in charge of auditions not the whole fest. But thinking about his father, who was the one of the two owners of Maa TV channel, the channel that was organising Spirit Award Fest, he once again became confident and replied "Of course."

"If so, as long as I can do something 'unique', I can participate in the Fest with my group, right?" Arjun asked with a barely noticeable smile.

"Indeed you can. But, you? doing something unique?" Johan laughed out loud. He found Arjun's words rather funny. As far as he knows about them, except for Pranav who was a bit good at dancing, the other two in the trio were nothing remarkable.

"Bro, I don't know what you are up to. But I hope you won't do something funny like swallowing a sword or eating a frog." Sri Ram murmured in Arjun's ears. Sri Ram knew that his friend doesn't have any unique talent. Hearing Arjun say he can do something, Sri Ram couldn't help but remember a reality show they watched a few days before and he shuddered just thinking about it.

Pranav too nodded his head, agreeing with Sri Ram's words.

"..."Arjun became speechless. Acting like he didn't hear Sri Ram's words, he moved forward a little and turned to face the crowd. With a strong and charismatic tone, he started saying loudly

"Can any of you can touch the tip of the nose with your tongue?"

"Touching nose with tongue?"

"Is it hard? anyone can do it."

"How hard can touching the nose with tongue be?"

Instantly the students inside the auditorium became rowdy. They subconsciously opened their mouths and started trying to touch their noses with their tongues while thinking how hard can it be. Even Sri Ram, Pranav and Johan tried that. But in a few minutes, everyone realised that... it was not possible. No matter how many times they tried, they felt like they were almost- almost there but couldn't reach the tip of the nose in the end.

After 15 minutes, Arjun calmly looked around. Almost everyone gave up by now.

"Now watch me to do it." saying that, he opened his mouth. His thin but long tongue slowly stretched out in a straight line. It elegantly curved up and... touched the nose. The whole series of actions were very quick. Unlike the students who made funny faces when trying it, Arjun did it smoothly yet elegantly, stunning everyone in the auditorium.

Even Johan was left flabbergasted. He really did it! Touching nose with tongue, that too without touching lips. he really did something no one can do! But...

"pfff! " Suddenly Johan started laughing. It was not just him but the whole auditorium errupted with laughter.

"Is this what he meant by 'unique'?"

"Hahaha, that was indeed some talent."

"I really thought he was going to do awesome but this... hahaha I can't stop laughing."

"Stop it guys, he really did something unique. You shouldn't laug- pffff."

Johan, the students, every one else in the auditorium was laughing hard. some even got tears from excessive laughing.

Sri Ram and Pranav tried to suppress their presence to avoid embarrassment. They felt like slapping their faces. Indeed, they shouldn't have let their friend go forward. Now the could only regret.

"Eh? What's so funny that everyone is laughing here?" suddenly a cold female voice echoed in the auditorium, making everyone stop.

A 25 to 30 years old looking beautiful lady wearing blue saree and red blouse walked in. Her face is so beautiful that it could make famous actresses feel inferior. Except, she looked a little too cold and indifferent as if everyone is beneath her.

Arjun's eyes lit up at her beauty. This lady, she was a few levels above when compared to his apartment mate Ananya. That was of course the usual Ananya. If Ananya dress up properly and do a little makeup, she will also be able reach this lady's realm.

As she entered the building, the auditorium fell into silence. Though the students there don't know her identity, they became nervous because of her superior aura.

"Aunt, I-" Johan exclaimed as he started sweating. How could he forget that his aunt was vising today. His aunt, Sophia Raushan, the other owner of Maa TV channel and most importantly, the organiser for this year's Spirit Award Fest.

It's over! It's all over! Now his aunt witnessed this mess at the auditorium, it's all over for him. As he felt more and more nervous, his eyes suddenly lit up when he glanced at Arjun. Right! wasn't he one that made the whole mess with his 'unique' talent. As long as he can shift his aunt's displeasure to Arjun, he can escape the calamity and also one of his enemies, Arjun will get into trouble. Thinking up to here, a smile appeared on his face "Aunt, this is Arjun, a participant for the auditions. He really got a unique talent. Arjun, why don't you show your talent once again."

"oh" Sophia glanced at Arjun indifferently and replied blandly. She wasn't much interested, she just came here to check if everything was okay. After all, Spirit Award Fest is an important event for Maa TV channel too.

Arjun wasn't stupid enough believe that Johan was giving an opportunity to prove himself. He knew that Johan was trying to set him up.

Suddenly his eyes glinted as as idea struck his mind. Suppressing his excitement, he put on a shy expression "No no, I won't do it. It was nothing unique, anyone can do it"

"You don't have to humble. Only you can do something like that. Please do it once more." Johan continued to persuade him.

"Are you sure? don't blame me later." Arjun said innocently.

"Why would I blame you? don't worry, just do it." why would I blame you when you are taking the blame, thinking inwardly, Johan urged Arjun.

"If you insist." saying that, Arjun 'nervously' moved closer to them.

His eager expression made Johan more disdainful. You are coming closer to show your 'talent' more clearly? hehe.

Arjun moved closer and closer until he stood before Sophia.

Sophia looked bored and uninterested. She doesn't seem to care about his some 'unique talent'.

The students were watching excitedly as they were waiting for Arjun to make a fool out himself. Sri Ram and Pranav closed their eyes as they couldn't watch any longer. They do want to stop their friend but it was already too late. Johan was the most excited one. He was eagerly waiting for Arjun to make a fool out himself.

Under the gazes of everyone, Arjun just like before opened his mouth. His thin and long tongue once again stretched out. But this time, it didn't curve. Instead something unexpected happened. Arjun suddenly moved forward and his stretched out tongue ... touched the lips of Sophia. Moving from lower lip to upper lip, it thoroughly licked her lips and finally touched the... tip of her nose!
