Chapter 221: CHAPTER 218: Dog Ears

Khaleel walked with Yanarym to Derop's shop with light feet. His sight never left her and because she was holding him, his heart couldn't be contained. There were no other words spoken between them however, unlike before Khaleel didn't feel restless and uneasy. Just simply seeing her was enough to make his long-lasting sickness fade away in a snap.

Obviously, she was occupied with other thoughts. That didn't matter because he was occupied by her.

"It's been ages," Derop said when he saw Yanarym opening the door of his shop. The wind chimes echoed a melody in their ears that returned Khaleel's senses to reality.

He was aware of his surroundings, but his sensitivity to her was heightened. All eyes were on her, the entire focus was on her.

"Hi, Derop!" She waved her hand and avoided the messy things scattered on the floor as she headed to the counter. "I'm here to get my usuals and also add this. I can pay you."
