Layton felt naked, he was alone floating in what seemed to be boundless darkness, disconnected from his body and his soul becoming porous, about to slowly dissipate over time but a mysterious force was ever-present stopping this process coupled with the strength of his will the dissipation process was essentially nonexistent, which meant he was fully awake aware as the minutes hours, days or even weeks passed, he had no way of accurately measuring how much time had passed as it seemed like he was experiencing an eternity.

After what seemed like aeons the mysterious force suddenly grew stronger and apparent and Layton regained the sense of his body, his spirit could perceive the mysterious force leaving his spirit and turning into vitality flocking into his body healing his wounds and bruises bringing him to a healthy state.
