"That kid's magic is not the magic of this world."
"Of course, I've always known the differences in Abel's magic, but it doesn't hurt to have an extra magical heritage, right?"
"The magical power you studied before possesses an unimaginably high quality. It is one of the best forms of positive energy magic in this world. When he matures, he should be able to protect the Earth effectively against Dormammu, the ambitious Lord of the Dimension. Thus, we believe he could be a candidate for the Sorcerer Supreme in the future."
"So what about Stephen Strange?"
"He is naturally a candidate for the Sorcerer Supreme as well, but we can't determine who is more suitable at this point. Abel Shaw's future is uncertain; even we can't glimpse it. The mysteries of the world are endless, and we can't guarantee omniscience or omnipotence."
"Then what do you mean…?"
"Find a suitable opportunity to let him come into contact with the 'Book of Vishnati' to accelerate his growth and establish a connection with us. A crisis is approaching. After you leave, the Earth will need a strong guardian."
"I understand!"
The Ancient One opened her eyes, gazing at the familiar room with a blank expression, her mood difficult to decipher.
Meanwhile, Abel looked at the cloth bag in his hand, joy evident on his face. He had finally used the Expansion Charm to extend the space of the bag to a good level, equivalent to the size of his room, allowing him to hold many items.
Creating a space that resembled a secret base or laboratory was beyond Abel's current capabilities, however.
He placed all his magical materials in the bag, particularly the experimental records and various data concerning Kilgrave's cells and genes, as well as the restoration data for Veritaserum. Once his collaboration with Tony commenced and his laboratory was established, Abel planned to use artificial intelligence to expedite the production of Veritaserum.
Next, it was time to address Tony's situation. Several days had passed, and he couldn't risk further delays. Moreover, this was merely a delay, not a complete solution. The sooner he provided it, the sooner he could utilize Jarvis's computational ability to restore the authentic potion recipe.
With this thought, Abel no longer hesitated. He opened a portal with his ring and appeared directly at Tony's temporary residence in New York. Since the destruction of the California mansion, Tony had relocated to New York with essential items and had requested Abel to accelerate the construction of the Stark Tower. The new clean energy plan derived from the arc reactor was also being implemented ahead of schedule.
Upon seeing Abel suddenly appear, Tony clutched his heart in mock fright and "accused" Abel, "Abel, if you keep appearing like this, I'll be scared to death! If I were in the middle of a deep conversation with a certain model, not only would I be embarrassed, but you'd be embarrassed too!"
"If you still want to get together with the model, then I truly admire you."
Tony retrieved two glasses from the bar inside the room, pouring whiskey and soda into them. He kept the whiskey for himself and handed the soda to Abel.
"You're under the legal drinking age, so drink some soda."
Taking a sip of the soda, Abel replied, "So you're not curious about why I'm here?"
"It's about the potion you mentioned being finished, right?"
"While it's not quite accurate, it's nearly there."
Upon hearing this, Tony, who was about to drink, halted his movements. He placed his glass on the bar and turned to Abel nervously, asking, "What do you mean, 'almost'? Is it going to be done soon?"
"Basically, the issue of alternative materials has been resolved. What's needed now is to determine the measurements and ratios. I've brought the corresponding data. Human experimentation is too time-consuming, so I'd like to ask if you can help."
"Yes! Of course! Jarvis is the most powerful artificial intelligence on the planet. As long as the data is accurate, Jarvis can quickly calculate the measurements and ratios. Did you bring those data with you?"
Not wanting to delay, Abel immediately took the documents from his cloth bag and handed them to Tony.
Looking over the file, Tony quickly made his way to the inner working room, placed the documents in the scanner, and then began directing Jarvis to process the data. In an instant, he was immersed in a frenzied working state!
Seeing Tony's enthusiasm, Abel didn't want to interrupt him. He left the workshop and sat outside, retrieving his notes from the cloth bag to read and record further.
During this time, Pepper entered, intending to introduce Tony to his new assistant. However, upon seeing Tony engrossed in his work, she opted not to disturb him. After exchanging a few words with Abel, she went off with her new assistant.
Abel observed the new female assistant—a woman with a striking figure, lovely face, and long curly burgundy hair—as she left with Pepper. He nodded thoughtfully, roughly deducing her identity.
It seemed that SHIELD had not given up and had sent someone to be close to Tony. However, this was of little concern to him. As long as they didn't provoke him, he had no intention of getting involved in SHIELD's complications.
In fact, if it were just SHIELD without any ulterior motives, they would be considered guardians of the world, despite their somewhat uncomfortable methods.
The problem was that Hydra was completely hidden within SHIELD, so it was better to stay away.
While Abel pondered these thoughts, Tony rushed out of the workspace with a tablet computer. He sat next to Abel, excitement radiating from him. "Abel, it's a success! Jarvis calculated the best ratio and measurement. Can I start preparing the potion now?"
Taking the tablet from Tony, Abel examined the recipe on it, nodded slowly, and said, "Yes, it's time to begin the preparation of the blood poisoning medicine!"
