Next Morning
"Good morning, Doll," Elsie said, entering the room while rubbing her eyes because she had just woken up and was still sleepy.
"Good morning! You're early today. Are you trying to show off to a student by waking up early?"
"Naaa, I just woke up early somehow! By the way, where is she? I thought she'd still be asleep, but she's not on the bed. I thought she might be in the hall," Elsie said with a bit of a smile.
"Well, look at the hall. Don't you think it looks different somehow?" Doll replied.
"Now that you mention it, yes, actually, it does look clean. Everything is in place. Is she doing that? Where is she?" Elsie replied, looking at the hall.
"She's nearby. I told her not to go too far!" Doll responded.
"Okay, I'll go look for her," Elsie said while walking towards the main door.
Elsie stepped outside the house and looked around. It was morning; the sun was rising in front of the house, and it looked beautiful. The cold morning air was brushing against her skin, while the warm sun was also heating her, giving her both a hot and cold feeling. Elsie took a deep breath, trying to catch the fresh air. "Deep breath," she said to herself.
Elsie looked towards the tree near the house, where Winifred was standing, taking in the fresh air as the sun's rays warmed her. The morning breeze played with her hair, making it flow in the wind.
"Winifred," Elsie called out as she walked towards her.
"Oh… Elsie, good morning," Winifred said.
"Good morning, Winifred," Elsie replied.
"You woke up before me, cleaned the house too, and I guess you even took a shower," Elsie said as she got closer to Winifred.
"Oh… yes. I cleaned the house, and before that, I took a shower. I tried to make something in the kitchen, but the recipes and ingredients are different from my world, so I couldn't make anything," Winifred said with a smile.
"Don't worry; I'll teach you everything. By the way, Winifred, would you like to drink something to feel refreshed? I mean coffee," Elsie offered.
"Oh… yes," Winifred replied.
"Okay then, I'll make two cups today, one for each of us," Elsie said.
"Okay. By the way, Elsie, I want to ask—how am I able to understand your language?" Winifred asked with confusion on her face.
"Ohhh, I was wondering why you hadn't asked that yet. It's because of the Fate Circle's magic. Anyone teleported through the Fate Circle is able to understand and read this world's language," Elsie replied.
"Ohhh, I see. Actually, I thought as much," Winifred said, looking at Elsie.
"Oh, so you already knew, huh…" Elsie replied with a smile.
"Yeah, kind of. I just wasn't sure," Winifred responded with a smile as well.
"You seem happy enjoying this view," Elsie said.
"Yes, on my planet, the air isn't this clean. I can feel how fresh the air is, and the view is beautiful," Winifred replied, gazing at the sunrise and taking a deep breath.
"Oh, I see. By the way, I'm going to take a shower now, then I'll make coffee and call you. Until then, enjoy the view," Elsie said, turning back towards the house.
"Oh, okay, and thanks," Winifred replied.
"Okay. After coffee, we're going to the city. I'll show you this world, and your training will start today," Elsie said, looking back at Winifred with a smile.
"Oh… okay," Winifred replied with excitement and a smile.
While sitting on the ground, looking towards the sunrise, Winifred thought to herself, Oh, I'm going to see the city. How will it look? Are we going to fly again? That will be great. She's going to teach me magic as well. I guess I need to be careful, but she saved me. If she wasn't here and even if the monster wasn't there, I don't know what would've happened to me.
In the House
"It's good," Winifred said, sitting on the same wooden chair where she had last sat, teasing her coffee.
"I knew you'd like it. I drink this every morning and evening," Elsie replied with a smile while drinking her coffee, sitting in front of Winifred.
"I recommend you only drink this in the morning, Winifred. Elsie has many bad habits. Don't pick them up from her," Doll said from some distance, near the bonfire.
"Doll, you don't understand me. I like my habits, and I'm proud of them, so I'm never going to stop Winifred if she picks them up from me," Elsie replied angrily, looking at Doll.
"At least admit that you have bad habits," Doll said.
"No, I don't have any bad habits," Elsie replied.
"Ha ha ha," Winifred laughed, trying to keep her voice low.
"Your coffee is finished, right? Let's go, Winifred," Elsie said after finishing her coffee.
"Yes!" Winifred replied.
"Is Doll not coming with us?" Winifred asked.
"No, he'll take care of the house," Elsie replied while standing and heading towards her room.
"Don't worry about me, little girl. I've seen enough of the world. It's time for you to see it yourself," Doll said.
"Oh… okay," Winifred replied.
"Let's go. I've taken everything we need," Elsie said, carrying a medium-sized bag on her wrist and wearing a hat that looked just like the witches' hats from Winifred's world.
"Okay," Winifred replied.
"Make sure to buy everything you need, Winifred. Don't worry about money," Doll said.
Winifred realized that Elsie was taking her shopping so she could buy necessities. "Oh… okay," Winifred said.
"That was supposed to be a surprise, Doll!" Elsie said angrily.
"Oh, my bad. You should've told me that earlier," Doll replied.
"Ah… well, it's fine, I guess. Are you happy, Winifred? We're also going to do some shopping for you," Elsie said, looking at Winifred with a smile.
"Yeah, thanks," Winifred replied, a little embarrassed.
"Thank you too, Doll," Winifred said again.
"It's fine," Doll said.
"Let's go," Elsie said.
"Okay!" Winifred replied.
