The day everyone was waiting for is finally here and Maximinus and Alexandra couldn't be more ecstatic about it. The both of them were pacing back and forth around in their separate rooms, thinking how everything went down since the very beginning. A smile played on both of their lips as they remembered the first day they met.
It was four years ago, Alexandra and her mother had returned from Australia after the pack was free from rogues. They were finally allowed to come home and couldn't be happier about it. The first thing she did when they landed on Nashville international airport was, running toward the car waiting for them, dumping the suitcase on the poor pack member.
She smiled guiltily as she thought about that, poor Frank, he was a very good man. The ride back home was full of excitement to see the rest of her family, she was jumping around in joy as much as her mother protested at her to stop it.
The moment she saw her big house coming into the view, she grabbed the handle ready to pounce out of the car. "Alexandra, don't be so impatient." Her mother scolded at her, but she was too happy to care.
The moment the car stopped she yanked the door open and rushed out of the car, stopping dead in her tracks when the door of her house opened, and her brothers got out. Her eyes filled with tears at the sight of her brothers, all grown up and muscular.
Oh God, how much she missed them. She grinned from ear to ear and rushed toward them, her arms sneaking around their waist as she pulled them closer. "We missed you sister."
"I missed you too losers." Yep, she'll never change. The three of them hugged for as long as they could, forgetting that they had someone over.
"What is going on?" Oh oh, I'm smelling trouble. Alexandra pulled away from her brothers confused and looked in the middle of them to see a tall guy standing on their doorstep. He had long pitch-black hair and somewhat tantalizing golden eyes with lips to die for.
I wish to have those eyes. She thought to herself as she continued to stare at the stranger. She never saw him before in her life and was curious about him, who was he? The cocky grin that appeared on the stranger's lips made her snap out of her daze, her curious look turning into a scowl.
Oh oh, everyone knew that look. The heated stares between them were making everyone nervous and no one knew what to say or how to react. "Sister, Maximinus, Maximinus this is my sister Alexandra. She's off limits so watch out."
"She's not my type anyways." I didn't know why I even said that. Maximinus thought as he paced in his room. The boys were getting ready while he was already done but he couldn't help but pace around in his room.
She was more than my type, long unique whitish hair, blue-green eyes that could electrify anyone and a body to die for. She was everything I ever wanted but she was also a devil dressed in sheep coat. If she could only hear me say that now.... Maximinus smiled at that and looked out of the window, his hands in the pockets of his pants.
He ran one hand up his face and through his hair to tug his hair in. With a groan he turned around, wanting to take that ridiculous bun Alexandra's mother made the hairstylist do but he had to admit, he looks kinda hot.
He straightened his jacket with his thumbs and point fingers, cracking his neck side to side as he licked his lips nervously. He pulled his tie a little and gulped down slowly, the tie feeling suddenly too tight for his neck.
"Man chill, everything is going to be alright." Chris patted Max shoulders with a squeeze, lingering his hand as he walked in front of him. "Look, it's already nine. The guests are arriving and you're soon to be wife is getting ready. We should go down."
Max nodded his head as he breathed out nervously. "You're right, we should head down."
Alexandra felt claustrophobic, everyone was on her. One was styling her hair, one was retouching her nails, one was doing her makeup, her bridesmaids were ready and taking over the guests that were arriving, making her more nervous than she already was.
"Max looks so hot; you're going to love what they did to his hair." Oh oh, Max must be moaning now over whatever hairstyle they made for him. She knew him like the palm of her hand. He doesn't like people touching or styling his hair.
"Ladies, stop making the bride nervous." Her mother scolded at them who chatted away in hushed tones. They muttered a chorus of sorry's and made guilty faces as they stared at the bride to be.
"Done." They pulled away from her and with a relief sigh she stood up, earning gasps from everyone in the room.
"You look beautiful." She rolled her eyes at them; it was just makeup. She didn't even have her dress on yet. She walked toward her zipped up dress and unzipped it, pulling it out of the secure sack it was in and with the help of her bridesmaids, she put the dress on.
Her wedding dress was satin and with long laced sleeves, backless and lace sheer neck straps off the shoulders. The upper dress was a bustier like with an A line silhouette and with appliqué, lace, bow embellishments.
Her hair was up in a big bun with a diamond barrette holding it in place, her veil hooked under her bun, flowing down on the ground. A choker necklace made of pearl and with a diamond pendant hanging around her neck.
Her lips were painted in a light rosy color and her eye shadow was silver with a tint of glitters in them, making her blue-green eyes pop out more. "Wow." The chorus of wow's made her blush and look down at her hidden feet covered in a sliver high heel shoes with ankle straps.
"Ladies the groom is getting impatient." Marie said as she sneaked her head inside and then slipped her massive stomach inside of the room with Maximus following behind her like a lost puppy. He was so adorable.
Alexandra squealed when she saw her and pulled her into a tight hug. "I can't believe you guys are here." She pulled away from her and rubbed her stomach. "Who invited you?"
"My brother did." This time Maximus was the one to speak, his once lifeless and filled with hatred yellow eyes were now gold and full of light. Guess that the hate he had for Max really changed him. I smiled from ear to ear at them, happy that they were here.
"Ladies, it's time to go." Anderson said as he walked through the door with clapping hands, pulling at the sleeves of his jacket, and stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her. "Alexandra, you look beautiful." He pulled her into a tight hug and rubbed her back.
"Thank you brother." She replied back blinking away her eyes that started to get teary, her brother looked dashing just like his father. Her heart squeezed painfully at the thought of her father and the melancholic feeling from earlier returned.
"Ladies line up." Alexis clapped her hands, mentioning the girls to stand straight in the line. She fixed them the way she thought was correctly and looked at the flowers, making sure that none of them had broken stem or faded color.
"Good, now head out of the door and walk down the stairs but stop at the backyard slide door." She stepped away and mentioned the girls out with her hands. Anderson and Alexandra shook their heads and rolled their eyes, walking behind the bridesmaids.
They stopped abruptly at their mother's demand and sighed deeply. "What now?" They turned to look at each other before looking back at their mother. Her lips broke into a big smile as her eyes got teary, her shakily hands moved up to fix her son's flower.
"I can't believe that my daughter is getting married and that her brother is walking her down the aisle to her soon to be husband." She sniffed with a short laugh. "Your father would have liked to be here to see this, but I know that he's up there looking at us right now."
"You're going to make me ruin my makeup mom." She waved it off and stepped away from them, removing her own tears from her cheeks.
"You're right. This is supposed to be a happy moment, not full of tears of sadness but from joy. Go out there and look straight into your mate's eyes and once you do, nothing else matters. It's going to be just you and him."
The guests chatted away as they waited for the bride to come and the groom paced around the altar, the priest and groomsmen stared at him in amusement. They never saw him like this before, not even when Alexandra was giving birth to the triples.
By the way, speaking of them, they were seated in the front, the boys in their little tux and Rebekah in her princess dress, giggling and kicking her hands wildly as she stared at the decors in front of her.
Max was pacing around when his ears perked up at the sound of music playing. He stopped pacing around and went to stand back in front of his groomsmen, his eyes focusing at the door. The bridesmaids walked slowly to the front; the flowers bouquet secured in their hands as they walked forward.
A smile appeared on his face when he saw his gorgeous wife to be walking down the aisle with his brother, clutching tightly at the poor Anderson's arm. She smiled at him and mouthed. 'You have a bun?' He shrugged his shoulders cockily with a wink.
'I look handsome.' He muttered back at her with a big grin on his face that soon disappeared when Alexandra stopped smiling and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, not understanding what was going on.
Alexandra didn't know what was wrong with her, as much as she took her mother's advice, she couldn't help but miss her father, she couldn't help but wished that he was the one walking her down the aisle, and with that thought in her head, she pulled away from her brother, hooking her arms underneath her dress and raised it from the ground before she turned around to rush out of the aisle, leaving a broken Max on the altar and gasping guests.
Max flied from the aisle, hitting Anderson in the process as he headed the way Alexandra went. "Alexandra!" He stopped on the steps and rested his hands on both sides, looking up. He pushed himself up the stairs and busted into every room in the house and looked in every corner with no success.
He cursed underneath his breath and slid down the bathroom door, bringing his knees up as he rested his head on the door. He moved his eyes to the side with furrowed eyebrows when he heard a faint sob coming from behind the bathroom.
He turned his body and knocked slowly on the door, twisting the knob to find it unlocked and stood up. He pushed the door open and what he found, broke his heart into million pieces. Alexandra was curled in a ball in the shower, her tiny body shaking as she wept and sniveled like a baby.
He walked toward her and kneeled next to her. "Baby?" She looked up at him with red eyes and flung her arms around his neck, pulling him closer as she sobbed. "It's okay baby, it's okay, we're going to be okay."
The guests stood there perplexed as they stared the way the groom and bride went through, not believing what just happened. "Calm down everyone, take back your sit. The ceremony is going to start in a minute...or hours." Alexis muttered under her breath as she ran her hands through her wavy hair. She sighed loudly and took back her seat, hoping that Max had found her.
"Are you calmer now?" He pulled his head back to put space between them as he stared into her eyes, his knuckles moving up and down her smooth skin.
"Yes, and I'm sorry for running off like that. Can we start again?" Max smiled at her and nodded his head, standing up before helping her up. "Go, I'll go out after you." They pecked each other's lips and deepened the kiss when they realized that it was forbidden and laughed sneakily at that.
"See you in front of the altar mate." Max pecked her lips one more time and headed out of the bathroom, fixing his tux as he skipped down the stairs.
The guests sighed in relief when they saw the groom walking down the aisle with a smile on his face and stopped in front of the aisle. The bridesmaids went back to where they first were and walked back down the aisle, standing on the other side of the altar.
Alexandra walked down the aisle with Anderson gripping at her this time, hoping that she doesn't escape this time. He stopped with her in front of the altar and gave her away before stepping away from them and went to take a seat.
"We all, are gathered together on this beautiful evening to share with Alexandra and Maximinus as they exchange vows of their everlasting love." As the priest started to say his speech, the both of them stared deeply into each other's eyes.
"As Alexandra and Maximinus take their vows today, we are privileged to witness the joyous love of a new family -- a family that will be nourished and nurtured through the devotion of two separate individuals growing together through the common bonds of love."
"May their marriage bring them the peace, joy, comfort and contentment that are known in the hearts of all God's children. And may Maximinus and Alexandra both look forward to each new season of their marriage. Just as the world looks forward to each new season of the year."
"For all seasons bring with them their own special moments and memories. An essential requirement of a good marriage is a strong bond of real friendship and trust. Alexandra and Maximinus your love for each other will grow deeper with every passing day, but it's important to remember that your love stands on a foundation of genuine, mutual affection and respect for each other."
"To truly love another person is to be willing to accept both their strong points, and their weak points, with equal measures of understanding and respect. The vows you are about to exchange, will serve as a verbal representation of the non-verbal emotions that are as real as anything that can be seen, heard, or touched."
"For it is not the words that you will speak today that will bond you together as one, but the strength of the love and commitment found deep within your souls."
"At this time, I'll ask you Maximinus and you Alexandra to take each other's hands." Max grabbed Alexandra's hand in his and gave them a reassurance squeeze. "Maximinus will you take Alexandra to be your wife, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish her friendship and love her today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor her, laugh with her and cry with her? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"
Max eyes glinted with tears of joy as he stared deeply into Alexandra's eyes, the next words coming out of his mouth secured and firm. "I will."
"Alexandra will you take Maximinus to be your husband, your partner in life and your one true love? Will you cherish his friendship and love him today, tomorrow and forever? Will you trust and honor him, laugh with him and cry with him? Will you be faithful through good times and bad, in sickness and in health as long...?"
"I will." Alexandra said before the priest could finish, earning a playfully scowl from him. She looked at Max and grinned madly from ear to ear as Max mirrored her the same way.
"What God has joined, men must not divide, now for the declaration of consent." The priest blessed the rings and then we exchanged wedding rings.
Max placed the wedding ring on his wife's ring finger and said. "I Maximinus take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
Alexandra placed the wedding ring on her husband's ring finger and said. "I Alexandra, take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
"Because they have exchanged their vows before God and these witnesses, have pledged their commitment each to the other, and have declared the same by joining hands and by exchanging rings, I now pronounce that they are husband and wife."
"Those whom God hath joined together, let no one put asunder. You may now kiss the bride!" He swung her to the side and placed his mouth on hers, earning awe's and applause from the crowd. The guests jumped from their seats, clapping loudly as they stared at the couple in front of them.
"I'm coming out I'm coming I'm coming out I'm coming out I'm coming out." Max swirled his wife on the dance floor as they danced to Diana Ross, coming out. Alexandra plastered her back on Max chest, his arms around her waist.
Max raised his hand and made her face him, her shoulders moving side to side in sync with her hips as she gave Max a pouty smile. Her hands rolled around her chest as she backed away, her arms moving up.
She turned around and danced around Max, squealing when he appeared behind her and turned her back around. She tossed her head back as she laughed out and sneaked her arms around Max, sharing a passionate kiss.
"Show mommy how you dance." Alexis appeared with Rebekah's hand in hers as she walked with a wobble. She cocked her head to the side and stuck her two fingers in her mouth. "Show mommy." She moved side to side and sniffed with a cute smile on her face.
"That's my girl, dance with mommy." Alexandra took her hands in hers and leaned down a bit as she danced with her. "What are you doing with my son Anderson?" She looked up to see her brother hurriedly hiding what he was giving to Maxim.
She narrowed her eyes at him as she picked Rebekah up. "Nothing?" He scoffed with a shrug as he played the innocent card but the cake on Maxim mouth gave it up. Rebekah leaned to the side to go to Max, so she gave her to him, putting her hands on her hips.
"Are you giving my six-month-old son cake?" Alexandra glared at him as she stomped toward her brother, taking her son from him. "First lesson learned, don't let your son alone with his uncle." At that, all of them burst into laughter, the kids looking at them weirdly. "Speaking of son. Where's Maximilian?"
"Alexander!"
The bridesmaids and groomsmen moved their hands left and right to the beat, their shoulders moving side to side. "I'm coming out I want the world to know got to let it show. I'm coming out I want the world to know I got to let it show."
Maximus pulled Marie away and swung her back in his arms, swaying to the beat. "There's a new me coming out and I just had to live and I wanna give. I'm completely positive I think this time around I am gonna do it. Like you never knew it ooh, I'll make it through."
He pulled away and touched her stomach, leaning down to plant a kiss on it before leaning back up. Marie wrapped her arms around his neck with a smile and bit her bottom lip, leaning his head closer to a kiss.
"The time has come for me to break out of this shell I have to shout that I am coming out." The guests stood up from their seats, clapping their hands as they made their way to the dance floor, joining the couples who swirled around the dance floor.
"Shit! Melissa hide me, the bridezilla is looking to haunt me down." Alexander moved swiftly behind Melissa, moving her side to side as to hide from Alexandra who was looking for him for giving her son cake. Damn Anderson, why did I listen to him in the first place?
Melissa giggled not understanding and turned her head behind her shoulder to look down at her mate who was hiding behind her. "What did you do?" She turned around and crossed her arms, looking at Alexander with a raised eyebrow.
"Me? If Alexandra tells you something about giving Maximilian cake, I didn't do it." He stepped back with his hands up in surrender mode, and widened his eyes when he heard his name. "Oh shit! Bridezilla found me."
"Alexander! You're so dead." Alexandra pointed at Alexander accusingly and with a glare, she stomped toward him. "Don't hide behind your mate! Why did you two gave my sons cake?!" Melissa rolled her eyes as Alexander moved her around.
"Maximinus, control your wife please!" Alexander exclaimed when Max appeared with Rebekah in his arms. "She's trying to kill me!" They all rolled their eyes at his exaggeration. "What? She's capable of that."
"I'm coming out I want the world to know I got to let it show I'm coming I'm coming out coming I want the world to know I got to let it show." Alexandra rushed to the front; the girls all bunched around to be the first one to grab the bouquet.
''1,2,3." They all jumped but Alexandra laughed, slapping her knee as she doubled over with the bouquet still in her hands. "I've got to show the world all that I wanna be and all my abilities. There's so much more to me somehow, I have to make them just understand I got it well in hand and, oh, how I've planned I'm spreadin' love. There is no need to fear and I just feel so good every time I hear."
"Ready, 1,2..." She tossed it back before three and whirled around to the girls jumping right at the bouquet. "I'm coming out I want the world to know I got to let it show I'm coming I'm coming out coming I want the world to know I got to let it show."
"Yes!" Marie squealed and rushed toward Maximus who looked pale all of sudden. "Hey! What's with that look?" Marie elbowed Maximinus before pulling him into a hug.
Alexandra jumped when Max sneaked behind her and smiled as she relaxed in his arms. "Ready to leave this place?" They said goodbye to their families and friends, and with pain in their hearts they had to say goodbye to their three babies that after the cake incident, were off like a light.
"Mom, please call me if anything happens okay? No matter what, don't hesitate to call me." Alexandra pulled her mother into a hug and kissed her cheek. Her mother waved her off and pushed her way. "Fine, I'll go now."
"Have a safe flight!" The guests waved at them as they threw rise at them, well more like hitting them with the rise. Mostly the groomsmen and bridesmaids. They got inside of the car and the first thing they did was grab each other's hand with a squeeze.
"I love you." Max leaned forward to peck her lips and cupped her face as he deepened the kiss, sneaking his tongue into her mouth, slowly caressing hers. "I can't wait for us to reach our destination, I have so many things in mind for us."
"Hm, like sleeping on the comfy bed comforters after an amazing sex?" Alexandra pulled away from him with her eyes closed, her lips still parted from the amazing kiss she just received. "I love you too Max, forever and always."
"Forever and always."
