"Please tell me you're kidding," Harriet muttered. 

I was at work, the next day after I flew back from New York. Harriet had appeared in my office mere minutes after I got to the office, and Juliette had locked the door behind her as they both ambushed me. 

I gave my personal assistant the stink eye. Unmoved, Juliette only rolled her eyes and sat down.

Harriet crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes at me.

"Juliette called me last night, and told me something very interesting. Mind explaining what happened?" my best friend said cooly. 

I sighed and rubbed my temples. It was too early in the morning for this, but I knew I had to give them what they wanted. 

Afterall, they deserved to know the truth. 

"Okay, I will explain. But promise not to freak out first," I said.

"That's a bad sign. Telling us not to freak out is like admitting that you did something wrong," Juliette frowned. 

I sighed again.
