EDWINA
Still grateful to Orion for saving me from the clutches if Kieran sisters at the party over the weekend, a small smile played on my lips as I made my way to the office.
Rustling papers, the sound of feet on the marble floors, phone calls being answered, along with other familiar noises welcomed me into the company.
The moment I stepped in though, Juliette found me immediately. Her gaze was filled with concern and what I vaguely recognised as panic, and I lifted my eyebrows at her expression.
Something must have gone wrong. Juliette wasn't one to panic over just anything.
"What is it, Juliette? Is anything the matter?" I asked as we kept walking to my office.
She sighed, looking even more harried as we walked to my office.
"Promise me you won't freak out," she said.
I stopped walking.
"What are you talking about? What is going on?" I asked.
She stopped walking to, and turned to face me.
