Chapter 99: Ch 99: What happened? [pt1]

The shift in his body and emotions startled Soma, but he did not know what to do with this information.

He wished he could talk to someone else about it, but the only ones who knew about his real classifications were all alphas.

Soma doubted that they would understand what he was going through.

"Meria, are you alright? I am sorry if I startled you. But I never expected you to be the Saintess since the Saintess was always hailed as a female. I guess this is what I get for believing in the rumours."

Alfred tried to joke around and lighten up the mood, which made Meria grateful for his assistance. 

He did not know what he would have done if the other omega had not talked to him.

'Should I try and curb this misunderstanding? I am not the Saintess, after all. But if I correct this misunderstanding, Eric can get into trouble, and I do not want that. I should pretend that I am the Saintess.'

Meria tried to smile, but it came off as strained.
