Chapter 65: Chapter-65

The sound of the bell ringing echoed throughout the woods, which was signifying the end of the hunt. The sky had already turned orange pink where the sun wasn't visible anymore.

Each of the participants were gathered in an open courtyard where they were directed. The host was already present waiting for their arrival. As Lucien scanned around, the number of people decreased compared to the number of people who were present this morning.

When Catherine arrived to receive her, she nearly fainted at the sight to see her lady in this state. As much as Lucien's brothers including her wanted to rush to her side to get her treated right away, it couldn't be done. The result for the highest hunting was about to be announced and no one was permitted to leave.

There were chairs and tables set for everyone to be comfortable enough, however, neither of the participants felt at ease, they only wanted to be on their respective beds.
