Chapter 4: The Dorm
after walking outside with Akemi i could finally see the building from the outside it was a large castle lie structure with banners hanging out of the many balconys however the castle seemed to be split into four colors red, blue, yellow and black Akemi was part of the red group i could tell by the red stripe on her shirt but her jacket was covering it until she gave it to me the place was completely empty if it hadn't been i could've wound up looking like a pervert with only a girls jacket to cover myself so that's a relief ahead of us was a massive hotel looking building however to my right there seemed to be a structure close to that of a coliseum it must've been where the school held its competitions on the other side there was a massive field with a huge orb producing light floating above it i couldn't believe my eyes it reminded me of a smaller version of the sun
"hurry up i have things to do!!"
Akemi yelled
"its been four years since I've walked give me a break!"
i shouted in response
"sure, just hurry and stop joking around i'm in a hurry OK?"
she said as i ran to catch up to her i had to explore when she leaves i thought to myself upon reaching the door which was in-crested in gold and the walls seemed to be made out of polished stone it looked extremely smooth the door had all types of symbols and whatnot on was a man in a maids outfit?
"hey hot stuff"
he said in an alluring manner i had thought he was talking to Akemi but i was wrong??? as she walked straight past him he kept looking at me
"wait up Akemi"
I was almost scared of him i also ran past after giving him a small greeting after going through the door there was 2 doors parallel to each other one said Mr the other said Mrs Akemi abruptly stopped and pointed at the Mr door
In their is your room the number is 187 all you need to do is step on the pad near the wall in there and say 187 and it will teleport you to your dorm room door it is a single room for now but you will be getting a partner i don't know who yet meet me outside here tomorrow at 8 am i will tell you your jobs for the day i'm the dorm manager for the Mrs cya tomorrow"
and in a blink she disappeared i did as she said and went into my door there where two beds in the opposite corners one had a uniform on it i assumed it was mine and instantly jumped on the bed i had passed out what a strange day i thought to myself i had a very strange dream i woke up in a village with a long metal pole with a point on the end beside me i wondered around the village and saw charred bodies everywhere i could even make out some children in the mix it was horrifying i then looked back at the place of my awakening it was a crater i was me its the village from before i frantically started to run to see if anyone of anything was still alive and needed some help. i ran for what seemed hours not seeing a creature in sight however in the distance i could see a green outline of trees i cant have had that much of a fall and still survived it's impossible i woke to a large rumble i looked out of my window and there was a giant flaming snake like beast with a horn on the tip of its head it stared straight at me just below it was Akemi i was amazed i quickly got dressed and was about to run out of my room but then a part of my memories came back i remembered my spear thorn i remembered that i was a soldier not from this place i had been shot out of my planet onto this one i don't know how but i do know it was a forbidden art that they used why i wondered to myself so much came back to me my happy times and the dark ones i didn't know it but my whole demeanor changed i was a soldier i thought to myself i cant represent my planet like this i straightened out my tie and tucked in my shirt my one and only goal was my spear without it i was limited as to what i could do on this planet especially if the rest could make that as easily as she did so i quickly ran outside and sneaked past Akemi which i had much experience on as i was mostly performing my own assassination missions while also fighting on the front lines against my own kind i sprinted into the academy and straight back into Mr.Sun's office I knocked and waited until he allowed me to come inside
"ahh 0 i wasn't expecting you to come here what is it that you needed?"
i decided not to tell him of my past and to keep it a secret i wouldn't dare say on this planet
"well sir i am interested in the area i was held captive in if you would be so kind as to let me see it once again i wish to reminisce as i did spend a good 2 years in that place" i said in a formal tone
"hmm that's strange a sudden interest i see have you regained some of your memories?"
he replied
i hesitated it hurt to lie to a man so honorable and as kind hearted as him
"...no sir i'm afraid i have not"
