Chapter 63: Chapter 63: All Out War Against Tepes Faction (VI)

I look at the group of undead and vampires in front of me. They are different from any undead and vampires I have ever seen. The vampires look like Nosferatu from the Vampire: The Masquerade game.

Without even saying anything, I point my pistol at the undead in front of me and press the trigger. A torrent of Sky Flame comes out of my pistol and destroys the head of the undead. However, it regenerates a second later.

"Well, this will be a hard fight."

I dash forward with my sword in hand and swing it at the undead, who raise its hands to block my attack.

'Hardening, huh?'

I summon my Sword of Damocles and make the fall to the ground from the gravity. With the undead on the ground, I release a torrent of Sky Flame that turns the undead into stone and destroys it.

With that done, I dash forward toward the nearby vampire. I swing down my sword and watch him block my attack, but before he can do anything, I shoot him with my pistol. However, to my surprise, my attack gets blocked by an almost transparent barrier just a couple of centimeters away from the vampire's body.

"Kekekeke~ Surprised? We are the blessed ones! We have been reborn anew! And do you think these are the only undead we bring?!"

The vampire releases an explosion from his body, and I need to jump away to get away from the explosion. I see the vampire regenerate even after the explosion destroys half of his body. I raise one of my eyebrows when I see him and the other vampires create massive magic circles and summon more undead, just like the one we are currently facing.

The vampire I face cackling like a maniac and says.

"How is it?! This will be your grave, humans! We have ascended! The sun is no longer our weakness! We will be the race that rules the world!"

What an arrogant bunch. It looks like I need to get serious. I take a deep breath and swing my sword. A second later, a massive Glyph appeared above me, and a giant Wyvern came from the Glyph. However, I am not done. The other Grimm I hunt in the RWBY world also starts to come out from the Glyph.

There are Beowolf, Beringel, Goliath, Nevermore and Manticore. There are a total of forty Grimms coming out of my Glyph.

"Attack"

With a roar, all of them attack all at once while I focus on the vampire, who is now gritting his teeth as the Wyvern releases a torrent of fire from its mouth and releases a blob of a white substance that creates smaller Grimm like Beowolf and Lancer.

I swing my sword and create more Glyphs to summon a hail of ice spears at the vampire. Fifty of them come out of the Glyph like an automatic weapon. However, it is just a distraction as I appear behind the vampire and stab him with my sword.

"You filthy human!"

He swings his hand and releases a dark purple energy that burns part of my clothes. I dash once again and swing my sword at him. When he blocks my attack, the Glyph behind him releases another hail of ice spears that stab him in the back. With that many ice spears hitting him at once, the barrier around his body cannot block all of them.

He roars and creates a barrier around himself to block me from hurting him. Sadly for him, I have other powers that he cannot block. I flick my hand and use the power of the Winter Maiden to create a massive ice spear from beneath him and pierce through his throat.

I create more ice spears and impale him with them so he cannot move. I walk toward him as he glares at me. I touch his head and burn him using my Sky Flame. After killing him, I look at my people and see they are also using the power of the Silver King. Their bodies are surrounded by silver light, which is like watching fireworks when combined with their flame.

I shake my head and dash once again to join the fight.

Marius Tepes and Euclid Lucifuge look at the battle in front of them. Marius has a frown, while Euclid has a small smile on his face. Marius looks at Euclid and says.

"They still get defeated."

Euclid nods his head with a smile still on his face.

"Yeah, they did."

"You promise me that they will win."

"I never promised you that. I promise you that they will be significantly stronger than before and I deliver that promise. Look at them. They are now fighting the humans on equal ground now instead of being massacred. They still do not manage to kill one of them, but they keep healing the other humans with that weird golden flame."

Euclid wants to kidnap one of those people to study them, but each time he kidnaps one of them, they release a torrent of flame to kill themselves. He also cannot seal the flame because it comes from the soul instead of something like a mana core. If he seals the flame, he will kill the specimen, and once they die, the flame will be gone alongside them.

"Sooner or later, they will reach the Lord's castle."

Marius says that as the frown on his face gets bigger. He does not like seeing humans entering the castle where Tepes Clan rules. A lower being should not enter the castle because they are not worthy.

"And that is when the massacre happened. Call all the vampires for the last stand against the Millefiore Family and its allies. We will destroy them once and for all. This is a test to see what we need to improve and to see what kind of weakness we can exploit to kill them."

Euclid looks at the interesting group of humans in front of him and smiles. It is a shame that he doesn't have Annihilation Maker or Sephiroth Graal to make the upgrade easier, but it is not a problem to be busy every now and then.

Sadly for him, what he and Marius have done will be the doom for them. Winter Schnee template requires Vale to kill monsters that threaten humanity to complete it. With the continuous hunt of the vampire and horde of undead, the template increases faster.

By the time Value and his family reach Bran Castle, they are in for a surprise. A surprise that confuses even Euclid.
