Damien's POV
All through my drive home I watch my wife sleep peacefully she's exhausted from the dinner party we had and when we finally arrive I carried her in bridal style to our bedroom and help her undress this sleeping beauty slept all through and didn't even know what was happening around her she even yawned and was saying something in her sleep so I placed my ears close to her mouth to know what she's murmuring about and all I heard I say is my name but she called my first name Falcon and I smiled at her sleepy face and covered her with duvet,it will be morning soon and we have to be at the hospital to visit her obstetrician,I need to get some sleep too,thank God I've made preparations in advance with Douglas and now the company is running smoothly without me having to be there all the time but it's time I give my staffs some things to talk about,I didn't know when I slept off in my thoughts...It's the day my wife is meant to see her obstetrician and I woke up two hours before she did I arranged for her breakfast which is toast and she had friuts afterwards,after her cool shower we set out and on our way down to the hospital we had this conversation What gender would you prefer she asked me and I looked at her and smiled be it a boy or girl I'm okay with either of them I replied you sure?she asked and I replied are you worried?not really but I just want to see you happy she said and I smiled at her and said all I care about is you being healthy and my baby being healthy no matter the gender you can be rest assured I love them equally,I said calmy to her and she gave me this sad look and said I would have preferred a mini falcon you know and I told her I'm satisfied with any gender as long as they are healthy...the rest of the drive down to the hospital was silent I'm sure she's still troubled and truly if you asked me I'll prefer a mini Rian and she wants a mini me it's funny we wanted different gender but I wouldn't want her to be more worried if she didn't get the gender she wanted so I had to tell her all gender is fine,and truly I'll love them equally no matter the gender,...when we arrived at the hospital I came down and walked towards her side of the car to open the door for her she stepped down gracefully and we walked to the reception..good morning Miss Rian the receptionist said and I had to correct her it's Mrs Dior in case of next time,yes sir the lady replied bowing and she said please give me a minute to reach out to dr Shetty okay I said and we sat down on the chair provided for us waiting for Dr Shetty to see us..
It actually took us an hour to see Dr Shetty,once we got to her office we're directed to the lab where the scan will take place,I was asked to stay outside but Rian ask I come in with her and Dr Shetty had to let me in Rian was given an hospital gown to wear and a towel was used to cover her lower body while her stomach was open Dr Shetty poured some liquid like gel on Rian's tommy and she asked we focused on the screen in our front to see the movement of our baby and she picked something that looked like a mouse and started using moving it on Rian's tommy and this gave us a clearer picture of Rian's tommy and to our surprised instead of seeing one foetus we're seeing two at first I thought maybe I was the only one seeing two instead of one,I was about to talk when Rian asked Dr Shetty before me I feel like I'm seeing two babies instead of one, Dr Shetty smiled and replied you're very correct we have two babies here would you like to listen to their heartbeat?Yes myself and Rian replied and before we know it we can the heartbeat of our two adorable babies and Rian got teary ,I was very emotional too for the first time in my life I'm going to be a father to not just one but two babies and now I'm here in the lab listening to my babies first heartbeat there's no joy greater than this right now....this is the best moment of my life, I held Rian's hands and wiped her tears as her tears flowed uncontrollably I can understand how she's feeling cause I'm also being emotional but Just trying to be a man in front of Dr Shetty I can't wait to share this good news with my parents I'm sure they'll be glad to know they'll be grandparents to two babies at a go....
Can we know the gender of our babies now,I asked Dr Shetty and she replied and smiled Mrs Dior is three months gone and as you can see her stomach is showing little by little and we can't know the gender for now let's give it about two more months to go,okay I replied and further asked If we can make love and she replied that we can make love but she shouldn't be allowed to do compromising positions and that she needs little exercise like sight seeing and she should have more of fruits and vegetables.. We are heading home now to share our good news,and on our way we agreed she'll resume back to work so I can look after her while I work but her office and position will change
