For the first time in Jack's refuge, people gathered together for dinner.
The reason was, of course, that another new member came to the refuge. Jack was going to make a grand introduction to everyone.
"You should be familiar with each other these days. I think there's no need to introduce once again."
On the table, Jack filled everyone's glass with black beer.
They had been used to drinking champagne and whiskey, and now everyone wanted to change their taste and try the faint scent of wine.
Tom warmly made a fruit salon with thick cream for the newcomer, Lori.
"Girls like you should like eating these things," Tom, who had nothing to do most of the time in the refuge, hadn't laughed so happily like now for a long time.
His stomach seemed to have thousands of words, pouring out while eating.
As for Mirelle and Annie, the two of them were picking up food into Lori's bowl as if they were having an arms race.
