Of course. Azrael had already proven to me that he had some influence over Dawn in the dungeons where she was imprisoned. He had hoped to gain things from her, I assume, though Dawn had insisted she had not revealed anything verbally. Mentally, however, is a different story.

"Let me guess, Dawn let something slip in her mind?" I say lowly, mentally having to stop myself from letting my voice come out as a growl. Antagonising Azrael any more than I already have would only escalate the situation, and I cannot afford to do that right now, not while I have not obtained the key.
