"It's another boring day in my life"
I sighed. "I wish could stay at home and sleep"
But I got no choice but to go to school.
I got off my bed and went towards the bathroom to clean myself up. I looked at myself in the mirror, my hair was pretty messy, my face looked pretty oily. Since there were 45 minutes before school time, I decided to take a shower.
"I should take a shower, today's the first day in my new school, I don't want my classmates to think I am a dirty Bastard."
It would probably sound weird but I just got transferred to Japan. It all just happened of a sudden so I didn't ask about it that much.
I used to study in the USA. My family lives there too. They still live there. I have no idea why I was transferred. I can guess why it's japan since my dad is a pure Japanese guy. One day he suddenly called me and said that I was transferring. Since my dad was busy with his work, I didn't want to bother him by asking various questions.
While I was peacefully showering, my alarm suddenly started to ring. I didn't even realize that I was showering for thirty minutes. I quickly dried myself and got out of the bathroom. I rushed towards the wardrobe and took out my uniform. I didn't have enough time for breakfast. I grabbed my bag and ran out of my house.
I locked the door and started running towards my school. Since my school was pretty close, I was safe, I couldn't be late on my first day.
I was pretty hungry since I didn't take my breakfast. I stopped at a store and bought a piece of cake. It's better than staying hungry.
Soon, I took my first step in my new school. Suddenly my tummy started aching. Running after eating something was not a good idea at all. I sat on a bench and took a look around.
The school was massive. It was bigger than what I've imagined, my dad also said that the school was pretty big but this was beyond my imagination. It was more like a small residential area.
After my stomach ache started to fade away. I stood up and started walking.
The school Campus was kinda empty, maybe because the class was going to start or already had started. I noticed Some students were wandering outside the building. I sighed in relief.
"Thank God, I am on time"
I had no idea where in the world my classroom was. I wandered around a bit. I asked a senior student about where the teachers' room was. According to him, the teachers' rooms were on the first floor of the first building. There were 5 to 6 buildings in this school. The first one was for the first-year students.
When I reached the teachers' room, I asked a teacher about my transfer. He immediately called another teacher. For some reason, he was really in hurry.
A mid-aged woman, with short brown hair, appeared and stood in front of me. She gave me a paper. Probably was something related to my transfer to this school.
"This is your paper right?"- she asked.
"Y-yeah, it's me" - I answered pretty nervously.
"Follow me" - She said.
I followed her orders like a good boy. Meanwhile, She introduced herself. Her name was Sakura Takiyama. She appeared to be our class teacher. She had been working as a teacher for a long time in this school. I didn't dare to ask her age, asking a woman her age is considered rude.
I don't know why but she looked kind and terrifying at the same time.
While I was walking with her, I took a look around. It seemed like the classrooms were on the third floor. I didn't have enough time to look around much, I still didn't know what was on the second floor. I would take a tour around the school after school.
Soon, We reached our destination.
"Wait outside" - she said, no, more like she ordered.
My heart was racing like crazy. I am not very good with people. Just the thought of meeting 30 or 40 unknown people at once gave me chills.
"Class, We have a new transfer student. You, Come inside"
I stepped inside. My legs were shaking.
I took a glance at my classmates. Everyone was staring at me like I was from mars and came here for higher studies. Which was pretty normal. I would also stare at someone new to our class. But in this situation, it didn't look normal at all. It was terrifying.
Stop staring! I am not an alien you know.
"Introduce yourself," Said Sakura-sensei.
Ugh, not this part. I hate this part a lot. I am not that good at talking face to face with someone, and this situation is out of the question.
Since I didn't have any other options. I decided to accept my fate.
"Umm...so... My name is Ashiro Kaname. I just got transferred here. Looking forward to studying with y'all"
Finally, it's over.
Everyone did a small clap, probably out of pity. But it still made me a little happy.
I tried to make the introduction as small as possible. It's not like I am not good at these types of stuff (I am actually) but I wanted to escape this situation.
"Take a seat, kaname-kun"
A seat huh? I wonder who's the lucky person I am going to sit beside. A seat beside the window will be perfect.
I looked around the classroom. There were some seats unoccupied but were not in a position that would be comfortable for me.
My eyes caught a seat which was at the corner of the classroom, beside the window, and most importantly unoccupied.
A perfect place for a loner like me. I sat down and unzipped my Bag. I noticed some interesting fellas in this classroom while searching for a seat.
To be honest, This school didn't feel like a normal High School. A normal school wouldn't have 5 to 6 buildings. It was pretty odd but since this was a government school, I thought it was pretty normal.
"Let's see what awaits for me in the future" I muttered.
