Chapter 78: Mistake

Rose watched her daughter eating her breakfast. Mai didn't talk much after coming home from her friend's birthday party. She also didn't explain why she suddenly came home even though she had permission to stay at Ivani's house before, Mai even came home late at night. Harry scolded her but Mai kept quiet and for three days Mai seemed to have nightmares again and even cried in her sleep, muttering incoherent words even though for three months it had never happened again.

Something must have happened, something bad. Harry felt the same way. Ever since Aaron's appearance at his house and the mistake Mai made that night, he had a feeling this wasn't going to be good. Perhaps his daughter's strange attitude was related to the boy.
