Chapter 130: Afraid

A week has passed and nothing strange has happened, no anonymous letters, no texts or calls, and of course no horrible packages. But Mai's life is not yet calm, Riven and Aaron asks her not to go anywhere alone, worried that Karyn will do something to her. Her father used to drop off or pick her up and she also often came home with Ivani, so it didn't matter. Mai also stayed away from Riven for a while. Mai was sure Riven had talked to Karyn and prevented the girl from doing strange things but Riven didn't say much about it, he just said there was nothing to worry about Mai anymore.

Aaron informs that Karyn no longer lives in the same apartment as them, nor do they know where Karyn has moved or how she's been. From there Mai can conclude that Riven is no longer friends with Karyn. It's a shame the friendship between them had to end, but if Mai had a friend who did terrible things as Karyn did, Mai would also probably do the same.
