Chapter 138: A Wish II

"Woi... What are you guys talking about!" Riven rebuked suddenly.

"We're having fun here. Don't bring up that psychopath. She won't come here. Just watch out if she dares." Riven glanced sharply at his cousin.

"You too Ron... Talking carelessly." It all started with Aaron's weird 'make a wish.

Aaron grimaced. He now realized what Boban meant and Ivani's 'creepy' look earlier.

"Sorry, Mai," he said quietly.

What has he done? Doesn't he want to protect Mai? Why was he the one who made the girl feel scared because of her careless words earlier? Stupid! Aaron cursed himself.

Mai half-smiled already. Her feelings were already bad earlier but she pretended to be unaffected.

"I want the biggest piece of cake, yes, all this stuff makes me hungry," she said later as a diversion from her fear.
