Everyone looked at Fury.
"Keep calm; it's OK; it's just an alarm; it just means that a few civilians have managed to get past the first line of defence; it doesn't matter; security will take care of it," Fury informed everyone.
Suddenly, the TV in the meeting went black and then lit up with a black hooded figure on the screen with their face covered.
"We are aware that you have individuals who assisted Thanos in his efforts to obtain the stones and obliterate half of existence; we will track them down and kill them because, after everything we have been through, they deserve it. This is a warning to you all; inform the individuals below that their days are numbered," the person on the TV says.
"Gamora, Thanos's daughter"
"Nebula, Thanos's daughter."
"Loki, Son of Odin,"
"All three of them conspired with Thanos at some point, helping him in his quest, and we are coming for all of them." The screen then went dead.
Natasha saw Fury pick up a phone and heard him yell at the person on the other end, and then put it down.
"It's OK, everyone; security is on it; this room is safe; it is bombproof, blastproof, fireproof, and gunproof." Fury reassured everyone.
"What role does Loki play in this? Although he attacked New York and engaged in some questionable activities, he had nothing to do with Thanos," Tony asked.
"That's a good question, actually," Fury said, turning to face Loki.
"Would you mind explaining what they think your connection to Thanos is?" asked Fury.
"Maybe they heard about Thanos trying to murder me and made incorrect connections to believe I was working with him," Loki said.
"Are you sure you have never worked with him before? They seem very certain for something so trivial," asked Fury.
"I'm sure, yes," Loki answers.
"Wait," Tony said.
"Bruce told me something a few years ago, just before we had our first battle with Thanos," Tony told Fury.
"Go on," Fury said.
"Bruce told me that Thanos was behind New York and that he sent Loki," Tony informed Fury.
"Is this true?" Agent Fury questioned as he turned to face Loki.
Loki remained silent. Natasha saw Thor glancing at Loki Looking worried.
"That is not true, no," Loki told Fury. "I don't know where you're getting your information from," Loki says.
"Stark has no reason for telling a lie in this situation. I will ring Dr Banner and ask him to come over, and I'll ask him if this is true or not." Fury told Loki.
Bruce was then called by Fury, and he showed up at the meeting room 30 minutes later.
Bruce apologised for taking so long to arrive; it took security longer than normal to clear him because of the break-in today.
"Stark said that you told him that Thanos sent Loki to attack New York; is this true?" asked Fury.
"Loki wanted me to work with him when the Asgardian ship was attacked, but I was in Hulk form, so he knew that pretty much anything he said wouldn't get me to work with him. He needed to come up with something that would ensure that I would help him and Asgard. He told me that Thanos was behind New York and
that Thanos sent him and made him do New York because he wanted the Tesseract." Bruce told Fury.
Fury then looked at Gamora.
"Do you have any knowledge if this is true or not?" Fury asked, "You and your sister have the most trustworthy insider information on Thanos. I know neither of you probably wants to talk about him right now, but I would like to have confirmation if what Stark and Dr Banner are saying is true or not, or as far as either of you is aware.
"I'm not sure I wasn't really involved in what Thanos was doing; I was kept in the dark about A lot of what he was doing. Nebula knows even less than I do. He kept a lot of information from us," gamora told Fury.
Natasha thought about whether Loki could really be the person that Thanos had had. Could Thanos have really been around trying to complete his plan since 2012?
