Chapter 1: A goodbye
"Goodbye Mum" Trunks hugged his mother as he wept quietly. "This may be the last time we ever meet. Son keep safe. Some people in the world are evil. I just don't ever want you to not return to me. Bye Trunks."
Trunks got into the time machine and waved as Bulma waved back. The hatch closed and the time machine started to rise upwards. The yellow time machine with a capsule corps logo started to fade from this timeline.
The time machine reappeared in another timeline. It didn't seem to be ravaged by some universe-destroying threat. Nothing seemed off. He could sense a few above-average chi sources. They didn't seem malicious or evil being but still could be deadly.
The buildings were less round and they were triangular or square. The cities had towering skyscrapers and not bubbles or domes. He looked on at the city. The hatch opened and he exited the time machine.
He put the time machine into a capsule that he put in his pocket in his purple lever jacket. He looked at the sprawling city and wondered where was he. He would fly on top of a large building and start to look at the metropolis of Tokyo.
He flew over at over a hundred of times the speed of light into an alleyway just so the passerby wouldn't question his sudden appearance of the stranger. He looked around and he went up to a person. "Excuse me, sir, where is the library?"
The guy looked over at Trunks and started to say a bunch of directions that were a bit confusing. He managed to get the general gist of where the library was he thanked the stranger before walking off.
After a couple of minutes of walking, he finally found the library it was a grand library. He looked up at the buildings and he could tell from this point, this timeline was less advanced than his own timeline.
He walked up to the lady at the desk and started to speak, "Hello, do you have computers?" He asked with a small smile as the woman pointed at the computers. He walked over and sat down and then onto the maps.
He then when to my location to see he was in Tokyo, Japan. He would open the file explorer and would accidentally press on the camera. He gasped when he saw his age had decreased to the time when he trained with Gohan.
