Chapter 64: Chapter 64: Why are We Bathing Together?
Swinging the iron spike in his hand and smelling the faint aroma of grilled meat, Li Yexing had a feeling of returning to his past life. He let his thoughts drift and wondered if he had disappeared in his previous world or if he had been replaced by that heartless mercenary. He also wondered about his parents and whether the guy who replaced him could take care of them in their old age.
"The meat is overcooked," suddenly, Avery's cold voice interrupted his thoughts.
"Ah, sorry..." Li Yexing responded subconsciously and flipped the grilled meat on the stove.
"To be honest, I don't like you at all," after a long pause, Avery spoke.
"I can tell," Li Yexing didn't have much to say about Avery's dislike. After all, he would be leaving in a few days, and there was no need to care about the butler's sour face.
"As a guest and the steward of the Lorena Family, I should treat you with respect," Avery said to himself, seemingly dissatisfied with Li Yexing's lack of enthusiasm. "But I can smell a strong smell of blood on you."
"Didn't Little Yellow tell you what I do?" Li Yexing frowned and asked as he flipped the meat.
"Little Yellow? That's the respected Lady Helen Lorena, the head of the Lorena Family. Please show some respect," Avery said seriously, seemingly unhappy with Li Yexing giving Lady Helen Lorena a nickname.
"Fine, the steward of the Lorena Family," Li Yexing responded with a frown.
"Listen, Lady Helen may be talented, but she has little experience in the world. I don't know how you managed to deceive the Griffith Family's maids to satisfy your dirty desires, but..." Avery paused and looked at Li Yexing with a cold glint in his eyes.
"I will never let you set foot in the Lorena Family's door. This time, I will consider you a guest, and I will give you a substantial amount of money as a token of gratitude for your kindness to the Lorena Family. However, after this, for your safety, please do not contact Lady Helen anymore. Otherwise..."
"Otherwise?" Li Yexing looked up at Avery.

"Let's go. I'll take you all to your rooms." Soon, Avery arranged their rooms on the second floor of the villa's east side, while Helen's bedroom was on the far west side of the second floor.
"They really don't give us any face," Rita whispered to Li Yexing after Avery left. "This is what they call uninvited guests. Maybe we shouldn't have come."
"I see," Li Yexing replied calmly, not showing much anger.
He just looked at the painting at the end of the hallway, which showed Helen looking even younger than she was now, standing between a bespectacled man who smiled like a foolish dad and a beautiful woman wearing a yellow skirt who had a loving expression on her face. Helen smiled like a fool between them.
"Nothing is fair in this world," Li Yexing muttered, absentmindedly rubbing Lilith's head. "But, Rita, there's no need to worry too much. This is still the Lorena Family's matter, and we are only guests. It's important to enjoy our rare holiday happily, isn't it?"
Rita smiled lightly and said, "Master, would you like to take a bath?"
"Sure," Li Yexing replied absentmindedly.
"Lilith will come too," Lilith, who was standing next to them, held onto Li Yexing's arm.
Before Li Yexing could react, the three of them were already soaking in the bathtub.
"Wait... why are we bathing together?" Li Yexing suddenly realized that something was wrong.
"What's wrong, Master?" Rita, wrapped in a bath towel, smiled lightly.
Li Yexing felt that something was off and looked at Lilith, who was bathing beside him.
Lilith leaned against Li Yexing, her legs stretched out from under the bath towel, kicking the water in the pool nonchalantly.
'Does she really not care about Rita?' Li Yexing was surprised by Lilith's calmness when he felt a soft touch on his back. He tried to turn around but was gently stopped by Rita's hand.
"Master, let Rita help you wash your back." Rita's warm breath was heard in his ear as the softness behind him began to move slowly with the bath soap.
Lilith turned her head to look at the white lump rubbing on Li Yexing's back, showing a jealous expression in her eyes. "Lilith... also wants..."
"Is that so? Don't worry, Miss." Rita seemed to have misunderstood something, her face showing a foxy smile. She left Li Yexing's back and gently pressed on Lilith's back.
"Oh~" Lilith's legs straightened, humming softly and enjoying the soft touch on her back with her eyes closed.
Li Yexing, sitting aside, looked at the two girls, one big and one small, sandwiched together and felt emotional. "Are you... mother and daughter?"
