E Looked up to see a goblin eating raw potatoes. A pale shade of green on a close to 4 foot tall goblin sat in front of him. A small tuff of hair on a very angular head, large pointed ears, and a long pointed nose. Surpsingly white and straight teeth even though they number probably twice that of a human and pointed at the tip like a canine filled mouth. E muttered out a simple " Hi."
" Hey, you okay? Seem kinda lost. Most humans don't want to sit with a gob."
" Oh uhm yeah I just kinda came and sat down sorry if I'm bothering you. Uh hey you have a class and stuff how do I use this menu thing?"
" Oh me, no I don't. I'm to broke to get a card. Figured I could find a party who needs a servant, ya know shine some shields, dig shitholes, cannon fodder. Hahaha just kidding about the last one. Names Brock"
E looked at the goblin and grew puzzled. Where people really that much of jerks? No one had even come close after he sat here. He felt it kind of like a blessing. He looked around the room and some of the would be hopeful inviting teams seemed to look on at him in a sort of disdain now.
E looked back at Brock.

What the fuck is this???. E looked at his screen as a few of his skills seemingly activated from his Seer class. He look back at Brock. He's not worthless at all and look how they outcast him. He's eyes lit up as he look at Brock more intensely.
" Whoa hey man, I said shine shields, I've never even kissed before"
" Huh oh what no no no listen. How about we make a deal. Here me out"
"Nah you hear me out, At least buy me dinner first!"
" What? Okay sure then will you listen to my proposal."
Brock blushed and touched his finger tips together. " Okay sure nothing weird though right?"
" Nope nothing weird come on let's go next door and get some food.".
E and Brock left the building and went over to the Inn. After entering E noticed the bartender had changed and now a hag of a woman was there. E hoped he could talked to Jasper but alas. He went to the bar and asked the lady for a couple meals and two drinks. After a moment and a small transaction he brought the two drinks and Brock to a table.
" Don't worry this is just some juice, I drank earlier. Anyways my name's Everest just call me E."
" Okay E, thanks for the juice but I make no promises. So what's your idea?"
" Okay so you said you don't have a Guild card right? And you were looking for work? Well I just happened into a little extra coin. How about I pay for your Class stone and you join my party?"
Brock looked at E like he was stupid. Then his stagnant face realized the sincerity in his words and expression.
" Are you serious? You don't mind hanging out with me? And you would pay for my class? There's no other hidden reasons right, I'm not yuckin my lips to yours bucko. Let's get that clear" As Brock said that he grew flustered internally, contradictorily to his words he blushed.
" No don't worry about that, I'm not looking for a relationship with you I like girls. I just want a party plus I got faith that you can be a real asset."
" Look you keep using crafty words and all but I'm not buying it. But yeah sure I'll join your party. Beats sitting around eating potatos."
Just as Brock finished his words the Barkeep brought over two bowls of rabbit stew. E and Brock dug in and finished their drinks. Afterwards they stepped outside.
" Hey so how'd a goblin like you end up here, also aren't you cold?" E noticed Brock was wearing a pretty hole ridden shirt, sandals, and a makeshift rucksack skirt. Seemingly beholden to no belongings.
Brock poised himself up with his hands on his hips. " This ain't nothing, I grew up on the mountain over there. Look at that snowcap, we swam around in that if we had to."
" Oh okay you grew up on Carths Spine, I didn't know goblins lived up there I grew up in the forest just below that. Well look if you're going to be in my party I'll foot the bill to get you some gear but let's get your class and go from there. You're gonna need some basics, and I gotta find armor anyway. Then maybe we can get a quest."
" Okay that sounds good to me, thanks captain."
" Just call me E."
E went through his coin purse to see how much money he had. After conjuring the the coin he could put of the bag he ended up with 5 Gold 3 Silver and 23 copper. After taking out a gold piece they went inside to the Guild hall counter.
After a few moments Brock turned around and showed E his Guild card.

"pffhahaha wait wait.."
" What's funny huh" Brock snatched back his card and his eyes grew red a little bit as his grin grew toothy.
" Whoa whoa nothing I was just think how similar we are ya know. You throw stuff and I shoot stuff I didn't know you were in the same vein as me."
Brock calmed down after a second " Oh yeah your a ranger huh. Okay yeah that makes sense. I thought you were laughing at my name for a second. I was about to bite your fingers off hahahahah." Then E sighed internally.
A moment later E noticed Brock's Skill list add the Natural Bite Lv 1 to his skill list.
" So what should we name ourselves? got any cool ideas? I was thinking something like Wood Knight's. What do you think?" E called back to his upbringing and thought it was pretty clever.
" Yeah okay that's good with me. We got wood but no knights we might wanna fix that or we're gonna be sitting ducks.
E raised a brow then dismissed the thought. He approached the counter this time to the other representative. He grew to dislike the gnome. Behind the counter sat a young woman.
" Hello I would like to register our party. Are there fees or anything with that?"
" Hello I'm Sarah, yes there is a 1 Silver charge for the Name Holding fee. Have all parties been given time to see each other's guild cards?"
E realized he hadn't shown his card to Brock so he handed it to him. After a few seconds of staring Brock passed it back.
" Looks like letters to me, It's all on there."
E paused for a second then turned back to Sarah. " Yep see it's all good. Can you just charge the name fee to my card, And we're going to go with The Wood Knight's. If that's available."
" Let me check." After a brief gander through a tome. " Seems like it's an open option. I'll just charge that to your card and then you will receive a stamp with your party's name and symbol on your cards. Don't worry if you don't have an insignia yet most party's wait for more renown or until they know they'll be working together awhile before adding it."
She stamped their cards and sent them on their way.
" Alright let's gear you up then come back and pick a quest" E and Brock left the building to find a tailor and visit the smiths.
