Chapter 40: When she says 'I'm just curious about how him.'
"Can you believe it? He said I was being a tsundere," Alice told her cousin Erina.
Erina observed her cousin and best friend Alice talking about her cousin Alice. In the past, she met this guy named Lee once, and she noticed he was handsome but didn't have anything interesting to say about him.
She heard from Alice that his parents had died a few weeks ago and because of that, Alice and her mother moved in to live with him since they were worried about him.
She smiled and said, "You seem to like him a lot"
"Wha...What?! I don't like him at all!" Alice stuttered blushing "Is it that obvious?"
Erina raised an eyebrow and smirked, "Oh, it's more than obvious, Alice. You're practically always talking about him."
Alice's blush deepened. "N-No, that's not true! We just happen to spend a lot of time together."
Erina smirked, "Who are you trying to convince? You're the one blushing like a tomato."
Alice's cheeks turned redder, "Shut up. It's just hot in here."
Erina laughed, "Sure it is, Alice. Whatever you say."
"Shut up, Erina! Don't act like you know anything about love or romance!" Alice retorted, feeling embarrassed and flustered. It was usually her who did the teasing, not the other way around.
Erina shrugged, "Hey, I may not know much about love and romance, but I do know when someone has a crush." She gave Alice a playful wink. "But don't worry, your secret is safe with me. I won't tell anyone."
Alice rolled her eyes, "Thanks a lot, Erina. You're a real pal."
"Seeing you like this, I'm curious about how you fell for him. How about I come with you to see him later?" Erina suddenly said, feeling intrigued by the person who could make her cousin fall in love. "Maybe I can help you win his heart." She had read plenty of Shojo manga, which made her curious about love.
[And I read plenty of harem novels to know where this is going.]
"Really? You're not interested in him too, are you?" Alice suddenly became vigilant of her cousin's sudden interest. There were already so many women in love with Lee, she didn't want to add another rival.
"What are you talking about?! I've seen him before, I can assure you that I'm not interested in him." Erina blushed from the sudden accusation and shouted in defense. She really wasn't interested in him or any other man.
[Yes, that's what they all said before the inevitable harem expansion.]
Alice laughed and said, "Relax, Erina. I was just kidding. I don't think you're interested in him either." She added in a low voice, "He won't be interested in Tsundere like you."
The rest of the day was spent by the two girls discussing Lee and devising strategies to make him fall for Alice.

Leaving Saeko's house Lee began to think that since arriving in this world, he hadn't actively sought women. They were the ones who sought him. And who can blame them? He was arguably the most handsome man in the world. He was also smart, rich, funny, smelled good, and more... he could walk out to any woman and say something off-putting like 'hey! Wanna fuck?' And she would surely agree.
With all his conditions it would be strange if women didn't throw themselves at him
Returning home, Lee learned from one of the maids that Alice would be spending the night with her cousin Erina.
He walked toward his room. He'll have to go out tonight. He promised to help Kishimoto and Akane get used to Gantz's weapons. As he walked past the living room, he saw Leonora sitting on the couch. She was wearing a lace dress emphasizing her cleavage and showing most of her tights. Lee's eyes stayed on her for a moment before walking away.
"Lee," Leonora called, halting his steps. It was the first time she had taken the initiative to speak with him since that fateful day.
Lee turned to face Leonora, his expression neutral. "Do you need anything?" he inquired. His tone was not unkind, but it was tinged with a hint of annoyance
Leonora shifted uncomfortably on the couch before speaking. "I heard from Alice that you wanted to sell your shares." She felt guilty about what she did, and seeing Lee who used to treat her sweetly become indifferent now, made her pained in her heart.
"Indeed, I wish to sell my shares since I don't have any interest in managing the company." Lee nodded in confirmation. He sensed that Leonora was weighed down by a sense of guilt, evident from her restrained demeanor. A smile played at the corners of his lips. He recognized that he could exploit her remorse to coax her into doing anything he wanted.
"If you don't mind I can help you with that." Leonora offered to assist Lee in contacting the other shareholders, as they would likely be the most interested parties in purchasing his shares. Additionally, she suggested reaching out to some of her acquaintances who might be interested in buying and thus increasing competition and the potential price.
Lee nodded at her proposal, agreeing to this suggestion. This was precisely the reason why he had requested Alice to inform Leonora about his intent to sell his shares.
Leonora proposed several more suggestions and ideas, and the discussion lasted for quite some time. As they continued to talk, the incident that had happened just a few days ago seemed to fade away. They conversed as if nothing had ever happened between them. At some point, Leonora moved closer to him to show him documents documenting his shares and what he inherited from his parents. He felt her thighs rubbing against his, and her chest sticking closer to him. Lee tried to maintain his composure and focused on the task at hand, studying the documents closely.
"Thanks, you helped a great deal this time!" Lee thanked Leonora for her help. He would have had a difficult time selling his shares without her help since he lacked personal connections beyond his parents' acquaintances, whom he did not entirely trust. Who knows how many people would want to cheat him?
"You need not thank me, Lee. This is the least I can do for you," Leonora replied while tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Her face had a slight blush, indicating her shyness or perhaps something more. Unknown to her, Lee has been using his power the entire time to influence her arousal. It is impressive that she hasn't jumped at him this time. Leonora had intended to say, 'As your aunt, this is the least I can do for you.' But after the incident that took place a few days ago, she found herself unable to say so.
After exchanging a few more words, Lee headed toward his room on the second floor. As much as he enjoyed watching Leonora trying her best to hold back her lust, he had other pressing matters to attend to. He had promised to help Kishimoto and Akane train with Gantz's equipment tonight. The last fight showed him that without proper training, they would be a liability, and he couldn't afford that.
[Damn! 'Liability' I got some new vocabulary to show off!]
Leonora watched Lee leave, she sat there, lost in thought, her eyes wandering over to where he was sitting. Despite her best efforts, she still couldn't control herself. Sitting next to him, she nearly couldn't control the urge to take him into her arms.
She shook her head to clear her thoughts, trying to push away the thoughts that were filling her mind. It wasn't appropriate to have these kinds of feelings for her nephew, no matter how attractive and charming he was.
Taking a deep breath, she got up from the couch and walked to the window. The cool breeze from the window helped her clear her mind, and she tried to focus on something else. She thought about her work, her friends, and her hobbies. Anything to distract her from her shameless feelings.
In the end, she made her way to her room. Then she moved a painting, revealing a small safe. Upon unlocking it, she retrieved a piece of clothing. The fact that she had kept it in the safe showed how much she treasured it.
It was one of Lee's missing T-shirts, which she safeguarded inside the safe, fearing that the maids might come across it while tidying up the room.
She brought the T-shirt to her face and inhaled deeply. It had been several days since she acquired the T-shirt, yet it still exuded the alluring scent of Lee.
"Lee..." Her breath became rougher as her hand slowly moved toward her towering breasts....

Lee stayed in his room taking a quick nap. For days, he had been running on three hours of sleep or less, because he always spent the night fighting lowlifes and honing his abilities. As he still needs to go out tonight, he decided to take a quick nap while he has some free time.
As he lay in his bed, Lee felt like he was akin to a Korean workaholic or a Xianxia protagonist, always pushing themselves to the brink of exhaustion with one task after another. They never seemed to take the time to enjoy their accomplishments before moving on to the next map, despite having literally tens of thousands of years to do so. What was wrong with taking a break for just a few years?
Knock! Knock!
Lee woke up from his nap to the sound of a knock on his door, and a mischievous smirk spread across his face. He knew exactly who it was; there was only one person in the house who would visit him at this time.
