Inside the car, Kiran was closing his eyes as he sat on the back seat. Closing of his eyes has recently become one of his ways to reduce stress any time he was expressing it.
"It's good to be insecure around strangers, I wouldn't blame you but you should learn to study than to just act" said the man as he look at him through the front mirror.
"I'm not being insecure, I would have love to stay but I can't put your family in grave danger all because of me" said Kiran as he look at him.
"That's good to see you care about others, but my family wouldn't be facing any danger even if your so called kidnapper were to come" said the man with a little chuckle.
Judging from the way the man said this word, Kiran has figure out that his little lie has been discovered from the start.
"What's your name sir, I want to make sure to come pay a visit when everything is fine on my ends" said Kiran.
"You don't have to pay a visit, but my name is Edmund" said the man.
"I'm Kiran Lopez" replied Kiran as he rest his back on the seat. "What's the name of this town Mr Edmund?" Asked Kiran as he would want to know some details of the place and how come he woke up here.
"It's Solvarian" replied Edmund as he continue driving.
After about an hour, they finally make it to the train station. Stepping out of the car, Edmund gave him enough money which he could use to buy a ticket to Kingsville and also transport afterwards.
"Thanks very much, please forward my greetings to your daughter, I will make sure to visit you guys, I promise" said Kiran before walking to go buy a ticket.
"Wish you all the best kid" said Edmund before entering back into his car and driving away.
The moment he finished buying his ticket, he didn't waste time as he quickly walked to the train so as to get ready to go home.
After about an hour ride on the train, he finally got to Kingsville train station, causing him to come down from it so as to go home.
Taking a cab and giving him his destination, it didn't take him long before he got home.
'Thank goodness today is Saturday, I clearly can't explain myself if it was any other day' said Kiran inwardly.
Walking towards his house, he knocked on the door and waited patiently for it to be opened.
The person he saw on the other side when the door was opened was his mom as she quickly gave him a tight hug.
"Where have you been, I have been looking for you since morning. I came to check on you, but reaching your room, I didn't see you" said Jenny as she tighten her hold on him the more.
"I'm sorry I didn't inform you mom, I woke up early and was bore, so I decided to take a stroll round the street. I would have called to inform you but I forgot my phone at home" said Kiran as he hug her also.
"Why did you take a stroll when you aren't that strong?" asked Jenny as she free her hold on him to check on him. "What are you wearing Kiran, I didn't remember buying you this type of clothes?" Asked Jenny.
"You might have forgot, it's among one of those plenty clothes you bought for me, you definitely can't know all of them by heart" said Kiran with a slight smile.
"Please don't ever leave without informing me another time, do you know how worried I was when I didn't see you in your room, I almost got an heart attack" said Jenny.
"I'm sorry about that mom, I should have inform you but I don't want to stress you after everything I have put you through" replied Kiran. "Where's dad?".
"He's inside, he didn't go to work because of you" said Jenny. "Why do you reek of dirt and blood?" Asked Jenny as she sniff his hair.
"I'm sure it's from the sweat of me jogging for two hours. I should probably go take my bath right now" said Kiran as he walked inside.
"Good morning dad" said Kiran the moment he saw his dad sitting in the living room.
"Where have you been for the past five hours now?, it's almost noon" said Hendrick in a low tone.
"I'm sorry I didn't inform you dad, I went for a jog around the street" said Kiran.
"A jog for five hours?" Asked Hendrick with a raise eyebrow.
"I forgot my phone or I would have called, Mikey and I went to his house after we finish jogging" said Kiran.
"Is this what they call puberty in boys, look how different you are right now" said Jenny as she look cut the conversation between them.
"What are you saying mom?" Asked Kiran as he look at her.
"Go and take your bath and make sure to look yourself in the mirror, then you will know what I'm talking about" said Jenny as he gesture for Kiran to go to his room.
"Why did you let him off so lightly?" Asked Hendrick as he look at his wife.
"Please let him go, he has been through a lot, being sick every month isn't what anyone could handle" said Jenny.
"I know dear, but if you don't correct him now, he might continue doing it" said Hendrick. "Me not going to work today would make my work excess on Monday" sighed Hendrick.
"I know you can handle it dear" said Jenny. "Do you notice the changes in him?" Asked Jenny.
"That's puberty knocking on his door" said Hendrick as he walked towards his wife. "When do you intend to tell him?" Asked Hendrick.
"I have tried but I just can't bring myself to tell him, can't we just let it go without him knowing, it's already in the past?" Asked Jenny.
"We can, but I advise we don't , he will know later and it's going to hurt more if we don't tell him before then" said Hendrick.
"I understand" said Jenny quietly.
