Chapter 234: His Whole World

Claire was already stressed from having to play parent after coming home from work and having next to no time to herself. What was she going to do when her classes started in a few months and she had even less? 

Alex had already promised to watch Ethan for her while she was in class but that would involve taking him to the gym with him every day as he worked. The kid was already well-known there and he was used to being quiet and obedient so he shouldn't cause any problems.

He was a bit concerned that Ethan would put up a fuss about not seeing Claire enough and add to her stress further. If that happened he would have to sit him down for a serious talk. She had sacrificed so much already to keep him out of juvie; she didn't deserve that.
