Chapter 13: Chapter Twelve

I entered the bathroom with Magnus, my feet wobbly under every step. I leaned on Magnus as I look around, taking in the bright, blue, painted walls and the way the room was laid out. It was super tiny but still had so much in it somehow. From the man made metal shelves to the fake decorations everywhere. It became puzzling when there was a mini wooden house by the toilet. I pushed that question aside for now. I could feel the sting come back to my bad foot.

“Magnus, lead me towards the lid, please?” I asked, hissing through my teeth as the throbbing in my foot grew. He nodded, leaning me down to the top of the toilet. Turning my head, I was met with my ragged appearance. Presented with a tired and worn down exterior, I stared at the gigantic, but slim piece of glass that stared right back at me with my own eyes. My body was layered with mud. From head to toe, mud was smeared onto my skin and clothes.
