The fanfiction has an outstanding way of narration and writing. No problem on it. My problem comes with the lack of critical thinking of the MC. The MC just put his life at risk to protect someone he doesn't even know just for a reward that doesn't really worth the value of his own life at risk. Everything that the MC got as reward was obtained by the OG Leylin Farlier in less than 3 years at the Magic Academy. And he reincarnation on him. He got as reward for risking his own life an "enchanted" Katana, a book to learn the Byron (Ancient) Language, Level 0 Spell, Grand Knight Respiration Technique, and a letter of recommendation to the Academy the OG Leylin attended. For those that have read the novel of Warlock of the Magus World know that they can be easily obtained at the Magic Academy, and still, the MC decided that he wanted them at the risk of dying without any reason. Even more, the elements that his soul is more talented could have changed after the reincarnation. After all, his soul is not the soul of Leylin or Fang Ming. But the MC didn't think about it. For put more context, in a caravan that have 3 Acolytes (Mages) and more than 10 Knights, the Grandfather of the person to protect, approached the MC, a recently ascended Knight to protect his grandson under the Oath of him dying if he is unable to protect him. The MC even detected how suspicious was the situation, and still agreed to do it. I can tell, if he was approached was not because his strength, but because the Grandfather relationship with others Knights and Mages is not good. And even on the narrative, the deal was not even explored completely. The MC just mentioned over it. I think it was a move made by the author so people will not think that much about it. But, details are important. And now it is demonstrated how brainless was the MC at that moment. Maybe it was forced character development, who knows? Readers, just pay attention to details.
