I can't rate the book, haven't picked it up because of the summary. I will rate the summary. Freaking awful. It gives us no information and is so generic that "MC wants to do something but faces adversity. will they succeed?" Is literally as informative. And summary up every story ever written almost. At least anything above, "See Spot. See Spot run. Run Spot, run!" This could be an awesome book, but so many people will never know because the "what's this book about" answer is less interesting and informative than a blank piece of paper.
Not much to say. I have read to the latest chapter and have found out that this novel is surprisingly good. I figured there would be a definite use of a lot cliches, but it’s not unfortunate since almost all novels at least have one un-brilliant cliche. As for the story, I can’t make out of anything during the 10 chapters I have read, but this novel is seamless with chance. I think this has potential.
Reading raws, atm at 1.2k chapter. MC weak and 99% times saved by luck or someone. If you want to read wizard novel sorry, this novel just like your average novel where mc always run. 100-200 chapter - best ones. Almost just like wizard style novel. 201+ get worse but readable. Novel have 2k+ chapters atm and nothing much changed. Even short story parts that can end up in 5-10 chapters get increased by x10 times. Way too much water.
The pace of the story is super super slow. The story will be nice in the beginning(upto something like chapter 270) but gets disgusting as it goes on. The the MC also turns into one of those lucky b@stard only found in trash novels. This less than clever MC gets into very very sh*tty situations due to lack of cleverness , proper planning and carefullness but still comes out safe and sound because he is the "lucky b@stard".MC has a lot of plot armour(no more matter what crap he does he will remain the superb). I read upto 600 charpters in the raw and the MC is still not an official wizard. If you want to read this novel because you are a fan of "warlock of the magus world","age of adepts" or other magic novels with a clever MC, i suggest you stop reading this. Only those like a lucky MC who has everthing falling from the sky for him and with a lot of illogical plot armour will like this novel
Am I the only one here still occasionally visiting this page hoping for a new chapter 🙁🤞 This novel has a unique air about it that I won't be able to find in other novels. Translator-san, please continue this work, cause I will wait for it. 😚

We need answers. Was this novel dropped? Did you guys bail after taking the coins that we spent to unlock the chapters and gaining the privileges ??? Is this over?
To say it in a single sentence: It is at least 20 times slower than your average webnovel. I am right now close to 1000 chapters of reading and you would be surprised if I say that the whole 1000 chapters would have been 50 chapters in another webnovel. At least according to the pacing. But this snail-like slow-paced novel has its charm. it allows you to get a good feel for how vast the world described in this novel actually is. You meet different people, enemies, friends, students, companions, and strangers. The only thing that you might get annoyed with, is the code of the main character. He gets taken advantage of by a lot of people and as of now does not have any personal goal. His main goal of saving his dear teacher stands still, but it gets dragged a lot by the author. But I am sure if the novel keeps the build-up pace and develops at the same steady pace, it will be a good and epic story. As of now, in-world time only has passed at about a single year at roughly 940 chapters. So I hope that the protagonist is on his way to gain the first major milestone in the world and continues to develop in such a manner. I expect at least another 1000 chapters before the author moves on to the next grand milestone. It is a different type of a story as most stories tend to rush from one milestone to the end, treating the immediate goal as the means to an end, while I hope that the journey will treat Angor just as kindly and badass at every milestone.

You know man I'm having a hard time understanding why this series is so praised, I've read 2200+ chapters (mtl) and I can say w confidence that this series is at best average. Why? Well mate, let me tell you, it doesn't have a unique universe and premise like Daoist GU, the universe in which this series happens is your average Warlock of the Magus World like universe w a bit of D&D, with all of their tropes, even more, this series is nowhere near as satisfying or entertaining as WOTMW. The MC is boring, the series is overfilled with fillers, you know I never disliked fillers as I can understand to some extent why they exist but here we are overwhelmed by them like there are a hundred chapters of worthless filler. The MC is well, very bland and boring like he isn't anything special or noteworthy, you probably have seen a few other MC just like this one in some other series. My biggest problem w this series is by far is progression like it's so fkin slow, it's even slower than e frikin snail. This world supposedly has 7-8 ranks (not taking into consideration the additional apprentice realm, every magus starts from here) that we know of (it most likely has more), now let me ask you, how many chapters do you think it takes the MC to reach the magus realm, yes the first realm, the realm after apprentice realm? Did you say 300? Maybe 500, even 1000? NO, YOU ARE WRONG IT TOOK FKIN 2000 CHAPTERS FOR THE MC TO REACH RANK 1 MAGUS, AND THERE ARE AT LEAST 7 REALMS, 2000 FKIN CHAPTERS, and I'll let you know that your average web novel series has somewhere between 1000-2000 chapters, now can you understand just how bad the power progression is? You might think maybe he has some special skills that let him as a rank 1 magus to defeat those above him, but no you are wrong, the MC can't even beat a rank 2 magus. Yeah, 2k chapters and this is where we got, this is even more frustrating when the MC is surrounded and used by rank 2+ magus. So yeah, this series was decent at the beginning, I'm someone who doesn't mind slow development, Daoist Gu is the best example, it was somewhat slow at the beginning but in the end, it became insanely good, but here the author overdid it to such an extent where he broke the series... Like it took the MC 2k chapters to reach rank 1, then many how chapters it will take for him to reach rank 9, tens of thousands of chapters? So yeah in the end I would honestly never recommend this to anyone, it's way way way too slow placed and very unsatisfying, you would expect some mind-blowing story w so much development, but no we get none of that, it's just your average human mortal in his very slow journey to the apex.
I really like this story. it takes a longer slower route then some people like but the characters and story are more flushed out then a lot of others. There is no screaming "you dare", "bow to this young master", or "your courting death" every other chapter.
One of best mystery novel I have ever read. There is always a feeling of mystery while reading. If there is anything to take fault with is its extremely slow story-line progress and slow update. Very recommended for people who like to binge read.
one of the absolute best novels on this site, too bad it's been a month since last update and I can't find anything on if it's coming back. ree
read raw to like 1k chapter MC still super weak not even full wizard story is super slow. too much water. better spent time on other novel
choose to read this book because of the reviews but somehow i felt disappointed 🙂 i dont know its just me or anyone else felt the same as me. the storyline for first 10 chap are slow. its hard for me to understand it quickly. the words, the line are translate well and straightforward, but i still think its lacking something.because i feel sleepy when i read it. the story also confused me sometimes. however its not cause me headaches thankfully. (bookworms knows what i mean) i meant to not criticize but this is my honest review bout this book. however its a book with good story dev. its not an ordinary trasmigrate story with faceslapping scene. you can find alice in the wonderland scene in this book! more to fantasy adventure i assume huhu. thank you for read this humble review. im off first. gonna read other books! see u when i see u🌹
I would give this a 5star for update rate but there has been n o update for the past like month unfortunately. the story Takes it’s time and leaves nothing out i like the pace. 1000 chapters in and is Still an apprentice 3rd stage.
Another novel dropped by webnovel scummy owners. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
This is in the middle of the pack when it comes to wizard cultivation novels. Unlike its predecessors it has realistic individuals with enough kind people to balance out the arrogant ones. The MC isn't evil and cares a bit about friendship. However, there are a lot of things I dislike. First is the slow progression. It has taken 170 chapters just for the MC to unlock his magic. This amount of time is ridiculous and should've never happened. Second is the amount of time the MC is an apprentice and taking unnecessary risks. He should have been smarter based off his previous teacher Jon, but instead he has been selling alchemy weapons, participating in death matches for fun and allowing his enemies who want to kill him to power up at a faster rate than him (Which is BS as the MC should be over 10 times faster with his technique.) Thirdly is the way how the author tries to create mystery in this novel about the 'truth'. What truth are you even talking about?? You never really gave it a real explanation and used it as a plot stopper by making his own teacher refusing to teach the MC anything at all because this rank 2 wizard wants a 15yr old boy to find the 'truth' of the universe by himself in 1 year. And the last problem I have is how the MC hasn't shown any urgency to save Jon. Instead the author has held it off and only brought it up when ever its relevant in the arcs. Overall I dropped this fic around chapter 265 due to the pacing being horrendously slow. (Weird since I usually love slow pace stories.)
THIS IS AN ACTUAL REVIEW WITH DETAILS AND SUMMARY. READ IT. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WAS WRITTEN FOR THE NEW RELEASE NOVEL AND THEREFORE IS ONLY UP TO DATE ON THE MOST RECENT CHAPTER (14). Tags: Male Lead; Magic; ? Age Rating: 12+ - No strong language thus far in the first 14 chapters, but violence is likely to occur and there has been some slight horror themes. Summary: A man calling himself Jon is transported to a different world, carrying with him only a plant and the object used to transport himself there- the Alien Eye. The noble Padt Family saves him from his near-death state and takes him in, offering him a job as a fruit grower. This is not his story. Twenty years later, Viscount Noah Padt, the man who originally took in Jon is dead, and his eldest son Leon Padt stands to inherit. Angor Padt, the younger son, has been mentored by Jon, and learned of a strange place called "Earth." However, Jon, at a mere fifty-some years of age, is withering away. He tells Angor that "Gaia's Will," or the will of this world, is rejecting him for not being originally from there. When Count Eton comes through, seeking the "Morning Dew," or a tea made from the plant Jon had brought with him, a wizard is accompanying him. Wizards are the stuff of myths and legends, but this one reveals himself for the Morning Dew. After it helps him achieve a breakthrough, he offers the Padts one favor. Though Angor first tries to save Jon, the wizard fails. Instead, Angor asks for the oppurtunity to become a wizard. During his testing, it is revealed that Angor does indeed have the necessary talent. Translation Quality: 5/5: There are no obvious grammar or spelling errors, and everything seems fine. Stability of Updates: 4/5: Hard to judge. I'm giving it a 4/5 since we can't tell this early on in the translation. Story Development: 5/5: Already interesting and unique. Instead of centering around the transmigrator (Jon), it instead follows someone else who is trying to save him. A refreshing change from the multitude of reincarnation/transmigration/time travel stories on Webnovel. Additionally, the story seems to be avoiding most the extremely obvious cliches, such as a family drama over the line of succession (that we see in almost EVERY female lead novel and quite a few of the male lead novels here). In fact, this line is stated by two servants talking about the line of succession since Leon will inherit everything: "Those family conflicts you read about in the drama novels won't happen here." Character Design: 5/5: Characters are unique and have their own personalities. Also, people can CHANGE THEIR MINDS. Wow. Mindblowing! The wizard, who originally planned to burn down Padt Manor in search of the Morning Dew, changes his mind and later offers them a favor when they give it to him out of their own goodwill. World Background: 2/5: As soon as the wizard comes, we discover there's a whole other larger world out there. ...this is honestly so overused. Main character coming from a tiny backwater? Discovers powers? It's extremely cliche, and I expected better. Overall: A nice change of pace from most of the cultivation novels here. I will note that it does seem to have some cultivation aspects, with breakthroughs and ranks for the wizards. I will continue reading this! Please like this if you want to see more actual review and not just "Guuuuuuuddd" or "Ugh terrible" in the review sections! Also note that this is an early review supposed to give people an IDEA of what the story is like, and that there are only 14 chapters out!
